Last nite was pathetic...King is a shell of himself and we never adjusted....Jose and Lindor want to hit HRs every time up just like in the playoffs...if they don’t change their approach they will hit .250 or less
King Felix is still Seattle's Opening Day starter for a reason...He's a beast. He's got wicked stuff and he's always capable of a performance like that...
Disagree but whatever...his era will b 4.50+ and may win 10 games...I just want to see a better approach...stop pulling off the ball and go the other way
Lindor and Ramirez are both career .290 hitters...Just relax, and stop talkin crap after one game about how they gonna be sub .250 hitters. lol! Geez.. And your take on King Felix really is laughable...C'mon man. Perhaps he has lost a little velocity. He is human. But he's only 30, and he's still an imposing 6'4", 235 pound machine, pitching on a $175m dollar contract. He's won a Cy Young, and multiple ERA championships, and you act like he's some bum they pulled off the street..lol!..His opening day performance was his 10th in his career, and quite typical by all measures...
Do you understand I said if they keep their current approach...they were terrible in the playoffs and it carried over into the early season...no doubt King was a beast but he’s not the same and his record and era will show
Should have done it a long time ago...You guys were right..It's everything I dreamed it would be... Somehow, Carlton perfectly describes it, without saying a word...
Also, starting a petition to create a thread called "500 Yards of S**t Smelling Foulness" and automatically route all posts by #showstopper and #beachbum there.
Im not seeing a lot of chatter anywhere on how big the signing of Jannis is. He doesn't fill the stat sheet, but he catches it when they count (i.e playoffs, end of game, both). He is also in the Josh Cribbs realm of being a gunner on the punt team. On 30 punts last year when he was double teamed at either LOS or had a second man drop over him, he was the first to the ball 24x! That would be YUGE. Now all they have to do is go pick up Marquette King.
Dude is impressive physically. Just needs to put it all together. Could be a reason we didn't kick the tires - or have more serious interest - in Terrelle Pryor.
wth are you smoking? Are you thinking that I was meaning he will be a #2? His value is as a gunner. ST is 1/3 of the game for most teams...its about half for the Browns. His skill set is needed. I don't think his making the team is a question. He will take some combo of Louis/Higgins spot.
