The jackets are kicking themselves on this one, vegas has a legitimate shot at the cup, even have a SC goalie. If, they win, and not a big if, they have a good chance, Tallons name should be on the cup, along with a few others like the cbj gang.

 

Well, it looks like we have some members here that can't handle criticism to their respective teams. Over the ten years or so on the cbs site combined with this, the leafs only went to the playoffs twice. I stuck by the team and took all the criticism, I actually enjoyed it, as I realize, it's just sports.
Bob in particular was a big leaf basher, with his many gifs and shots at ownership and management. I never took it personally, he doesn't come around anymore, his team isn't in the playoffs, I'm not going to say that's the reason, it could be something personal or healthwise. I would welcome Bob back here, as I believe he's a good guy and a very knowledgable hockey fan and very good for the site.

I don't think that I have to like anybodys teams, I have my team and really have no rooting interest in any other teams. I'm sure most are cool with that, as they understand that I don't have to like their team.

I've stated my reasons for having a dislike for tallon, he treats his players bad, they way he let go of his coach last year was a terrible thing to do to somebody, and gallant is doing great in vegas, as karma will bite tallon in the ass. Also, in dealing with young kids with very fragile egos, he's a disaster. Not even a phonecall to his second round pick, which is an old friend of mines son, bad way to treat people.

Anyways, just wanted to get that off my chest.

What makes this site and sports conversation in general interesting and real is the fact we all have opinions and the freedom to express them. Anybody at anytime can always rebut or counter that opinion with their own idea's.

 

Definitely, it's good to keep an open mind and you could even learn something. Even if you think someone might be trash talking, it's only a friggin game, let's get real. Trash talking other teams can be fun and as we see in the case of the blackhawks, the tables can turn.

 

If Ducks win tonight vs the Avs then the Stars are mathematically eliminated since the Blues and Avs play eachother on final day and winner is ahead of Dallas.

 

Panthers are pretty fucked. Their sched is tough and New Jersey won today.

Just to clear things up on this thread dine. I honestly take no issue about how you feel about the french. The truth is, I saw a soccer score with the team Everton and just decided to have fun with it. I don't know why you inserted yourself in there, thats neither here nor there.
