I think they used the stretcher because he was at the Zamboni door. That’s actually probably the reason he got his skate stuck in a rut, zamboni entrance is usually the dirtiest ice.
Looks bad though, Carlo’s season might be over. Tough break.
Riley Nash took a shot to the ear, if its only stitches it’s no big deal, a concussion.....?

 

Bruins D has been taking hits all season long, but they are a resilient lot.

Bergeron skates, could return for Bruins in Game 5 against Maple Leafs

BOSTON -- Patrice Bergeron could play for the Boston Bruins in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference First Round against the Toronto Maple Leafs at TD Garden on Saturday (8 p.m. ET, NBC, CBC, SN, TVAS).

The center missed the Bruins' 3-1 win in Game 4 at Air Canada Centre on Thursday with an upper-body injury. Boston leads the best-of-7 series 3-1 and will advance to the second round with a win Saturday.

"[He] skated this morning, so that's a positive," Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy said Friday. "Said that all along, when guys are skating they're closer to playing. So we'll make a decision [Saturday] on that. We won't rule him out but we won't say he's definitely in."

just saw the replay of Krug's injury from last night, gruesome.

its unnerving to see the foot go forward/backward like that in a skate. getting caught in a rut and turning it side to side is the usual way to screw up your ankle in skates. ive done it, tore ligaments in my ankle getting caught in a rut while pivoting, my right ankle hasnt healed to anything remotely close to what it was before that.

 

Patrice Bergeron had groin surgery 10 days ago... he's already chomping at the bit to get back in a pair of skates.
