My two brothers and sister went there earlier this year to visit my aunt.

Another weird thing is that he didn't even press charges. Attempted murder is about 10 years. He did go to the hospital after he finished his beer.

 

there is an unsolved serial murderer in Australia from years ago. 3 people go hiking and decide to help a stranger in help. well, he didn't need help. he was tracking them the entire time and acted like he needed help, but he was a serial killer. only 1 survived to tell the tale of what happened. the killer was never seen again. the bodies of the other 2 hikers were never found and the 1 survivor barely got out alive. I can't recall the movie, but between the dingos eating babies, the other creatures and bugs there, Russell Crowe kicking your ass and serial killers on the loose - I am passing on visiting Australia anytime soon. Plus I would never sit in a plane for 22 hours without going nuts or needing a dozen alcoholic beverages. no thanks. pass.

 

22 hours to get there, once you're there, the cities are so far apart. It's a four hour flight from sydney to adelaide.

it seems like there were a few different killers and killings in the Outback. It wasn't just Wolf Creek. And the only survivor wrote a book about it and how when the killer killed and buried her friend, she hid in the desert at night freezing till the killer and his dog left her. amazing.
