Wasn't planning on that, but Hand is just too much talent sitting there....#1 recruit in the nation, over Watson and Fournette among all others.....295 pounds of lean muscle. Can't wait to see this guy in the dawg pound. Browns are fired up about that one!
This is the first pick that made me cringe since we're not too far from the Bills picking again. If Denver gets him for real in the 4th it'll be a real steal for Elway.
Had a brutal time watching tape on Christian though, since he jumps from left to right tackle and back. I would think I was scouting him, reach the end of a play and realize I’m watching the wrong guy. Pretty funny actually
Just off the top of my head we have transitioned to the mid, mid-late round tier for OLinemen. I didn't check though and others have different opinions.
I like his ability to play either side def my swing tackle this year. Good OL coach can help tighten up his technique
Denver Broncos draft thur 4 rounds 1-7 (7). Broncos (TB) - Quenton Nelson, OG - Notre Dame 2-6 (38). Broncos (TB) - Christian Kirk, WR - Texas A&M 2-8 (40). Broncos - Sony Michel, RB - Georgia 3-35 (99). Broncos (Comp) - B.J. Hill, DT - NCState 4-2 (102). Broncos (<-TB <-NYG) - Kemoko Turay, OLB, Rutgers 4-6 (106). Broncos - Dalton Schultz, TE - Stanford 4-13 (113). Broncos WAS - Geron Christian, OT - Louisville Traded Sua Craven from Washington Elway would be off my shit list if he had a draft this good.
Josey Jewell is one of the more difficult players to get a solid read on from his film. I want to like him more than what I do. His comp for me keeps combing back to a lesser Chris Borland.
Well, you succeeded in snagging two picks before they reach Buffalo. B.J. Hill went one spot before the Bills, and then G. Christian. Since I live in Denver I don't mind that much.
