The Saints are on deck behind ATL. We'll consider trading back, if anyone is around and interested send the offers soon. I have a player picked out if I don't hear anything
For the Raiders, this scenario would work for them. I really don't think McKenzie likes lb's. Raiders 1.10 Minkah Fitzpatrick, KR, PR, FS, CB , waterboy, lovely irish kid from Alabama. 2.9 Carlton Davis, CB Auburn 3.1 Derrick Nnadi, DT, wanted Settle, not available. This fat kid doesn't move.
Helping the D Rediiis. I like it. I was talking to Joe about Minkah the other night. I personally think FS is his best position. But no reason you can't treat him like a nickel CB as well or dime LB if he shows promise at those spots as things develop
Sorry everyone, I got stuck in traffic. I’ll be sure to PM a pick to the mods just in case I’m cutting it close next time.
If you are going to miss your pick, please leave wish list to Will, RTTruth, Tim, LAOjoe and mebbe even Lyman
Goes against my nature, because I don't believe Ian Thomas is true BPA. But with Brees turning 40 this next season and freshly re-signed, I'm approaching the Saints draft with a definite win now! perspective. So some weapons near the end zone are certainly a plus. I really liked Thomas' tape. Looks like he can develop into a well balanced tight end, with some immediate ability to create matchup problems for Linebackers
I'm being honest when I say I might actually be the safest person to leave a list with. "Obsessive" is one word that might apply. Even when I'm busy at work and don't have time to check in, I still look to see what's happened every 20-30 minutes
Most TE's just sit on the bench as 1st year players. I don't see upside with Brees turning 60. Now if they sign Clive (can't ride a bike) Walford...
LoL. Not entirely true. Most TE's don't get premium time in run situations or schemed as the first read very often. But the good ones still get on the field. Especially in some redzone situations, simply for creating matchup issues. A good coordinator will distract you with motion and decoys and let a big bodied TE post-up at the goal line or run fades if the defense is stupid enough to put smaller/slower guys on you.
I see that it’s my time slot... So.... In hopes of replacing Ryan Shazier, the Pittsburgh Steelers select: Christian Sam ILB from Arizona State Let me know if he’s already gone.
