I tried some of the candies. Butterscotch actually. I thought it was a pretty awesome way to go...Talk about saving your lungs. It's a different world. My girlfriend bought a whole box of them so we could let some friends back home try, and I was a little paranoid about just sticking them in the luggage, but didn't have any issues. Probably just got lucky...I don't know what the rules are, but I'm doubting that was legal...
I will cough at all but the smoothest toke or bong/volcano/whatever hit. I'm not a smoker and only do the stuff recreationally so my throat is practically virgin. Although I've heard best Joe is gummy Joe.
Tim told me he'd try to check in when he can and that probably also means when he is due... we'll see.
He left me to cover for him, but didn't leave a list (forgot)... i'll give him some time and do have an auto ready if needed. LAOJoe and RTTRUTH, I could use your input on how long to wait, because he is not online at the moment.
Random draftnik complaint of the day. To speed up my scouting (try to get through 7 rounds worth), I quit hand-writing scouting reports after about 80 prospects to save time. Now I'm roughly on player 130-145 somewhere...and I'm pretty sure I've re-scouted 1 or 2 guys not realizing I had already watched them. Nothing written down to confirm for me. I'm getting deja vu in the middle of particular tapes feeling like I've seen this play before. Was it a defender on the other team? Or have I already scouted this guard 3 weeks ago? I just don't know.
I save a bunch of time by using the "hunch and guess" method for my draft selections. Hey! This is not hockey!
That was definitely NOT legal. Welcome to my world of smuggling drugs. Usually with candies, you can mix them in with a bunch of other candy and it will pass pretty easily and they will only see “the real deal” if your bag gets selected for a spot check and then only if the wrapper has a leaf or logo on it. Easy peasy.
