R.H.S.C. Mock Draft - Hosted by Lyman

Discussion in 'NFL Draft' started by Lyman, Mar 21, 2018.

  1. Underdog Franchise Player Patriots

No, that was Philly's pick originally. They traded it to Seattle with Matt Tobin, Seattle traded it to the Pats for Justin Coleman, the Pats traded it back to Seattle for Cassius Marsh, and Seattle traded it back to Philly with Michael Bennett. The pick before that that belongs to Cincy now was the Pats' original 7th that was traded for Marquis Flowers.

    So 1 more was missing

I was out of town and had no idea we were starting. Pick number 2 is definitely available so if anyone is looking to buy themselves their QB 1 let me know. I’ll probably make the pick later this evening if I don’t receive any offers.

Dang we actually have a Giants fan on here.

Lol they tracked me down a year ago for the GM draft. I actually prefer the Giants discussion here (IE there is none) to the garbage fire they pulled me out of on Reddit...

I don’t think I have ever encountered another Giants fan here though...

  6. Lyman "Franchise Asshole" Browns Buckeyes

No problem. You have plenty of time.

I will be sending out invitations for the official mock in the coming days. If you want in send me a PM. Lyman if you want a team I'll pencil you in as first wildcard for thanks in running this.

Even with quality RBs in Hyde and Johnson

I think Browns should go QB at #1 & Chubb at #4 and they'll be dominating the AFC North in 2 years for the next decade

If you ever come across one you think would enjoy talking about the draft and all the other conversation we get into be sure to invite them over.

    It would be greatly appreciated.

Having a couple good running backs on hand doesn't automatically mean you should pass on the opportunity to add a GREAT one...
That notion was considered...I think in the real world, the Browns will take a QB #1, and Chubb might be in play at #4.......But this isn't that. And I feel certain that the Giants would have taken Barkley in a heartbeat, had I not....Don't worry munoz, I'll get my QB. Having #4 in my back pocket is quite the luxury..;)

    Character
    Strength
    Speed
    Balance
    Endurance
    Work ethic

The list goes on. He's everything you want in a game changing player, and it's all positive...Saquon Barkley was not a difficult decision.

I liked your post TD. I like the thought process.
You’re lucky it’s you, not me repping Brownies. I go QB at 1.

Encouraging speech from Dorsey though. He said “best player available, period.”
That could be hinting at Barkley

I think the new Browns decision makers value RBs later in the draft. As Dorsey got hunt in the 3rd and the guys from greenbay picked up 3 RBs beyond that last yr.

I hope they go with my plan so Denver can draft Saqoun Barkley at #5. I've been campaigning for him all year. #SuckForSaqoun

RT, I know the Browns will go QB at #1 in the real deal...But I'm confident that I'm still going to get my QB, and I just couldn't pass on Barkley...

Would the Browns move down, that is a big question. With so many holes in the side of the ship, I could see them do this.

  17. TopDawg Legend

I wouldn't....The Browns need some elite NFL talent. They should stay put at the top of this draft and grab a couple real difference makers....Just my take.

Not only down, but for next year's draft...they could take big picks if someone like buffalo or Miami want a qb.

We've been doing that for years...
