There hasn't been a running back with an athletic profile at the combine as poor as Dalvin Cook's drafted in the first round in 16 years.

There is another possibilty that I didn't cover in my original post . . . The Giants trade out of the #2 pick. IF that happens, it doesn't matter one iota to whom they trade the pick. ANYONE spending the draft capital to trade up to #2 is spending that capital in order to pick a QB. If that trade happens, then I pick my QB at #1, sit back and pick Barkley at #4.

The running game is going to be critical for the Browns. It was integral in Tyrod’s success in Buffalo and it will be important whenever their would be franchise quarterback takes over. Chubb has franchise tools with game changing ability to pound opponents between the tackles, but is a threat to break big runs with his speed. He’s also a fantastic complement for Duke Johnson. D.J. Moore has the potential to be a truly special receiver, albeit in a non-traditional package. I thought he left because he proved himself best and wasn't going to even be considered moving forward, that and he wasn't the only QB to transfer out at that time.
