Probably why they have bowed out of the Terrelle Pryor sweepstakes. Pryor keeps it up, he's going to be left out in the cold again. If he loses another bidder, the price of the contract is going to start going down...he better just pick a team and sign.
That's the difference between you and I stopper...I'm always happy and you are always miserable. I know misery loves company, but I'm not on that party list.
The NFL is getting a gift in Baker Mayfield. This QB is going to be extremely fun to watch and follow for the next 10-15 years. I hope like heck that the Browns are the smart team lucky enough to pick him. If they don't, so be it - I'm still going to root for Mayfield.
No the difference is you debate for several months and want certain players you think are good...then you settle for their replacements...why even make a wish list then if your happy w whoever they choose
Ya a gift....Browns vs Dolphins both teams need to win to get in the playoffs and Baker is on Miami...who you rooting for?
I know this is addressed to @IrishDawg42, but I've already very clearly stated this is their last chance to "make it right" for me as a fan. If it's not Mayfield, or barring that, Rosen and an A++ draft the rest of the way, I'm giving them a season to shock the NFL world. And if that doesn't happen, I'm following Baker Mayfield where ever he may go.
Honestly, I can't wait to see what he is doing in a couple of years. I'll give him a year to acclimate, all rookies need some time, but I am expecting a lot from the kid.
No, I'm not stupid enough to think I am a professional scout. I UNDERSTAND reality is that the Browns employ people that are smarter than I am at this. Doesn't mean I don't enjoy it as a hobby and like watching players in general either sink or swim.
That's an oxymoron, unless they are playing each other, which you didn't state...They can't BOTH need to win to get into the playoffs, if they do, then there are other avenues for them BOTH to get into the playoffs. So, either way, unless they are playing each other, you can root for both. NOW, if the Dolphins win and they are in, that's a whole new scenario...THEN, it makes it a case of The Browns need to win AND the Dolphins need to lose, in which case that makes it an extremely easy decision. We are all Browns fans first, something you certainly don't understand. (edit) Although, I will feel bad if Baker ends up on Miami, since they just traded away their best weapon that would have helped in his development.
