The Tennessee Titans select: Antonio Callaway, WR, Florida

First round on the field, undrafted off of it. I figured I'd use this pick to cut the line in the undrafted market, but I still won't be on the hook for too much if we decide to move on quickly. We'll be hoping he turns out more like Tyreek Hill and less like DGB.

 

I was thinking of Callaway but then I remembered I drafted a WR and signed Hurns so I felt I didn't have room for him to really get a shot anyways with the baggage. So I traded back and picked up a future pick.

 

Maybe not a full snipe, but he was in the conversation for this next pick...I think it's worth the risk here.

Quin Blanding, FS - Virginia

 

Lewis is a great value pick. This time last year he was projected as a 1st round pick. But I question the ability for his skills to translate to the NFL. I think that's the thing others see as well which is why he is falling down the boards despite a productive year. But still at this point it is well worth the gamble.

 

I think teams are going to question where he fits because of his size. You can't play him on the DE in a 3-4 because of his weight and he's not a polished pass rusher or possessing explosive traits for 4-3 DT. IMO, he's going to struggle against larger more athletic guards as a 3 tech and I can't see him standing up to the power on the edge or having the ability to beat tackles.

Where do you see him fitting in?

 

Call me whatever ya want. If they gonna give me Denzel Ward at #17 and Tyquan late in the 7th, that's plain thievery...

I didn't take a single player that wasn't in my top 110 overall...That's why I traded away my future 5th and my new WR coach. The late round values were just too good IMO...
