Dude... just give up. In the span of about four pages, you called Bitonio a bum (he was the second-best LG and fourth-best overall guard last season) and yet blame Kizer for bad decisions. Then blame a block on a Wyoming guard (not great, but certainly not "beat so bad" and then excuse an awful decision and throw by Josh Allen. Your understanding of the game is rudimentary at best, so your opinions are already highly-suspect. Your "evidence" or support is always flimsy, weak, or from the same person - who is also low-football IQ individual, so you don't really have a leg to stand on. Your only contribution is as follows: "Browns r bad, my personal opinion gud". You've expanded now from "Browns r bad" to basically, taking the opposite stance of those who post on these boards. That, my friend, is the very definition of an internet troll. Your god-tier sh*t posts used to a nice break in the routine, but now they've become gnats at a picnic. They're annoying, they're all over the place, and no matter how hard one tries, you cannot seem to swat them away.
I wasnt excusing the throw....the tweet said why get out of the pocket....I said cause the LG was beat so bad...obviously theres a trust issue w his OL....again I trust myself over some twitter fool that you follow...btw Bitonio played 16 games....did he make the pro bowl or get recognized as an all pro? Top 4 should place him there right?
I think you should prepare yourself for Allen being the guy and I think you should be open-minded about what coaching could do with a guy with that kind of arm talent. There are about 5 people in the world who can throw a football like him and 3 of them live in 3rd world countries and haven't been discovered yet.
Only the most archaic front offices rate arm strength as the top attribute of a quarterback. I'm 100% serious in that if they draft Allen, I'm going to become a free agent. I want no part of a QB who needs *massive* development just to be competent at the NFL-level and who's trajectory is "out of the NFL in three seasons". Hue Jackson is not Bill Walsh. I wouldn't trust Bill Belicheck with Josh Allen, let alone our "hero" (Huckleberry Haslam's words, not mine).
In all honesty...you think the FO cares if you become a FA? If they think Allen is the best QB, their not saying well we may lose SAS so we may have to reconsider
Combine, yes. He measured 9 1/2 at the Senior Bowl. So he's either 1/8 larger or 1/8 smaller than Darnold... or (more likely) it's a push. Hasn't impacted his game, unlike Darnold. Mayfield (Nov - Jan): 385 of 579 (66.5%), 5,437 yards, 48 TD (8.3%), 13 INT (2.2%), 168.2 rating Darnold (Nov - Jan): 229 of 348 (65.8%), 3,106 yards, 19 TD (5.5%), 9 INT (2.6%), 153.6 rating
That's fair... but I feel the term is a bit open-ended. For me, arm talent has to *include* accuracy. Josh Allen simply does not display any level of accuracy or touch. If we were to draft a guy based on arm talent (I guess my definition versus yours), it'd be Josh Rosen. If Rosen didn't have the concussion concerns, I'd be on board with him. Either guy (Mayfield/Rosen) have the look of All Pros to me.
Fair enough but I think we both have enough 'misses' over the last 10 years (wow, it really has been 10 years since my first Browns Reality Check thread) that you could be a little more open-minded on Allen.
