the bigger questions is not Cousins with his new team, it's who is at the helm as QB for the Eagles?

Will Wentz's knee be ready? Many writers don't think he will be ready. If Foles plays, will he have the same magic he had in the postseason?

I think Wentz will be ready roll opening day. May not get much work in the pre-season but I think he'll have enough time to get healthy for opening day. It is on the early side of the recovery time, so Foles is definitely a possibility. Would this be the first time that Conference Championship opponents meet on opening day with neither team starting the same QB? Unless the Eagles do indeed end up starting Foles of course.

what worries me is it's 3 tears, not 1. same as RG3. He was rushed back too soon and look what happened. I trust the Eagles Doctors and medical staff, but the NFL is so fast and vicious, even if healthy, one hit to the same knee could be catastrophic for the Eagles and Wentz. I see many Eagles fans wanting to trade Foles. Until the health of Wentz is proven in camp or during the season, Foles stays put in Philly.

I don't know how I trust the Eagles' docs because it always seems like other teams find shit wrong the Eagles missed.

yeah the Eagles Doctors missed Jon Dorenbos' heart injury and it wasn't discovered till he went to the Saints and was checked out by their medical staff. Not good.

The Chargers announced that they agreed to terms with Pouncey on a two-year deal this afternoon.

Pouncey, a center who has played his entire career with the Dolphins, was released last week after declining to take a pay cut. There’s no immediate word on how much money he’s making with the Chargers.

The Colts announced they signed free agent tight end Eric Ebron on Monday. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports it’s a two-year deal worth up to $15 million.

Ebron, 24, gives the Colts a pass-catching complement to Jack Doyle. Doyle caught 80 passes last season, while Ebron caught 53.

    Ebron also visited the Panthers.

The 10th overall choice in 2014, he started 37 games and made 186 receptions for 2,070 yards and 11 touchdowns. The Lions cut him rather than pay him $8.25 million this season.

The Lions, meanwhile, continue to search for tight ends after losing both Ebron and Darren Fells. (PFT)

I think the Lions are going to draft a TE this year.

    Jaguars release Marcedes Lewis

Wide receiver Allen Hurns isn’t the only player saying goodbye to the Jaguars this week.

Tight end Marcedes Lewis is also being released by Jacksonville. Lewis had his option picked up earlier this offseason, but his $3.5 million salary for the 2018 season was not guaranteed.

Lewis told Mark Long of the Associated Press that he’s not happy about the way things

“I think I deserved a little better than I got. … I wish they would have done it sooner,” Lewis said.

The move comes after the Jaguars signed tight ends Austin Seferian-Jenkins and Niles Paul as free agents. Lewis had been with the Jaguars since 2006 and ranks third in franchise history in both catches and games played. (PFT)
