  1. We are interested in trading up to any upcoming pick if our player is still available.

    I dunno, ask the Browns.

I fully expect Dallas to be more on the side of trading up. I think they end up with 7 picks, (they irl have 10, they had 11 in this mock)

I'll get one up before I pick for Arizona.

    Should be about noon.

    Buffalo Bills draft recap:

5: Sam Darnold, QB, USC. Traded up with Denver, gave 21+22+53 for this pick and several 4ths. He is QB1 on some draft boards, and QB3 on mine. Hopefully, he is a franchise QB.

56: Tyrell Crosby, OT, Oregon. My OT3, so I felt fortunate to get him here. OT is a position of high importance in general, but especially so for me, given what I picked at #5. Given Glenn's injury concerns, this was a necessary pick.

80: Derrick Nnadi, DT, Florida State. My DT5. He was literally the next guy on my list for pick #56, so again, I felt fortunate to get him here. Buffalo's DT situation is ghastly, and I was outbid for the free agent DTs that I was interested in.

96: Duke Ejiofor, DE, Wake Forest. My DE6. The 2018 Bills aren't going to contend in real life or in this sim, so now that the imperatives (QB, OT, DT) are taken care of, I'm just scooping value at this point. Lawson has only been okay so far, and Hughes is turning 30.

106: Fred Warner, OLB, BYU. I've honestly seen this guy on a number of top-50 lists. He's a bit of a project, but he's big and pretty fast and covers well.

109: Michael Gallup, WR, Colorado State. I change my mind about my official WR order every day, but I really like Gallup. Top-10 at least. Very productive college career, good senior bowl, good combine. Versatile enough to play any position and run any route. Seems like a very McDermott-ish player tbh, so I wouldn't be surprised if we draft him IRL, and earlier than this.

112: Colby Gossett, G, Appalachian State. A bit of a project, but he had a very consistent college career. We're getting a bit old at IOL, so I'm fine with him sitting behind Incognito, Ducasse, and Miller this year (unless he beats one of them out).

121: Jaylen Samuels, RB, NC State. A unique and versatile prospect. A great route runner with supberb hands, that some people even think would do better as a FB/TE. With McCoy and Miller already in house, I felt it was better to add a unique RB such as Samuels rather than some of the more traditional guys that I had rated similarly.

155: Justin Jones, DT, NC State. As I said before, our DT situation is horrid. I feel totally confident spending two picks on this position. NC State's line was legit stacked this year.

158: Christian Campbell, CB, Penn State.
222: Tony Adams, C, NC State.

The way the draft works, almost everyone feels that they got a number of steals. Just because everyone's boards are different. But anyway I feel great about this result, especially picks 2-5. I had like 7-8 guys that I was thinking about with pick 56, and ended up with four of them.

    @LAOJoe

Was there no pick autoed for the Bears?

I can make one for them now along with my Cards pick, but I just want to be sure that I didn't miss it somewhere.

I'm not really leaning on the rookie CB. The starters are fine, but that's it... what would I do if one were to go down with injury? Got to have depth in todays NFL for not just injuries, but FA moves as well. After Rhodes and Waynes on the corners hat position is depleted and I didn't get a FA so I had to solidify through the draft. Maybe not ideal, but with my Cap situation I really had no choice.

As for the roster, I think its solid, even better in reality with the 1 year addition of Richardson on the D line... I heavily addressed the O line as well. QB is my main concern and I wasn't able to sign a FA there, so I screwed up in that regard. Should have tendered Keenum.

Like I said earlier, its a good thing smarter people than me run the real show.

Overall, I needed depth and I dont see drafting someone as a problem in todays world... I cant sign everybody I want, lol.

    I tried...

I gave them until morning so if nothing was made then then they weren't autoed.

I'm really surprised he lasted this long.

  18. Lyman "Franchise Asshole" Browns Buckeyes

This is exactly the scenario that pisses me off. I've been sitting here since my last pick with Lazard on my radar and, after failing to even make a pick, Chicago ends up sniping me within 8 picks of my last one!

The Carolina Panthers select: RB - Jeffrey Wilson, North Texas
