Just to clear the air a bit . . .

I am not a Draftnic. As such, way back on 2/27/18 in the "General Managers Discussion Thread (post #399), I asked the group if there was a site that listed the draft eligible players that provided overall and positional rankings. I received one suggestion (via PM) that fit my needs. This particular site listed some individual measurements (height, weight, 40 time, etc.). Moore's 40 time was shown as 4.54 seconds and I had no reason to question that.

I thought that posting the average, highest and lowest 40 times, based on this data, was relevant to the conversation going on at the time about 40 time cutoff as the average, highest and lowest all fell within the cutoff time discussed.

That said, here are the corrected numbers using Moore's updated 40 time:

• Average = 4.50
• Lowest = 4.39
• Highest = 4.60

Good pick...I should have waited to tell the story about how you got my max offer. I wasn't thinking... Sorry about that.

 

When I saw Tim take one of the lowest Safeties in the draft I was shocked. Especially with an 82 tackle, 4 one, Safety still on the board.

 

I'm just glad it wasn't your target.

 

Depends on where you look and what information you are going with.

Edmunds has been linked with 3rd round discussion and his combine is going to keep him somewhere near the top of day 3.

 

I like Edmunds a lot. Was one of our top choices with our 4th round pick

The Miami Dolphins select: CB - Rashaan Gaulden, Tennessee

 

NFL has him graded 5.5 and CBS has him as a 6 to 7th rounder. So your right, it varies greatly from site to site.

I know Cincinnati was cheap with its scouting dept, but I didn't know that cheap.

*CBS didn't retain their scouting from years past, and has gone downhill in a major way.
