SoCal - can you change your picks ? There is an old actress who won 2 Oscars who is still alive today. She's like 102. She was born in 1916. Olivia DeHavilland. I would add her to the Death List.

No. I'm locked in. They wouldn't even give me credit for my Rose Marie (died Dec 28th) pick.

    SoCalSaint picks:

    Kirk Dougles
    Billy Graham <<<<<<<<<<<<
    Stan Lee
    Bob Barker
    George Bush Senior
    Jimmy Carter
    Bob Dole
    Larry King
    Norman Lear
Rose Marie (didn't count) Got Barbra Bush as a replacement
    Tommy Lasorta

I'll get at least 1 or 2 more.

16-term NY Congresswoman, Louise Slaughter, passed away today, age 88. She took a fall at home last week, had a concussion and didn't make it through. She represented the 25th District which includes Rochester. She was the daughter of a Kentucky blacksmith. Slaughter held a degree in microbiology and was originally from Harlan County, Kentucky. Her soft, twangy accent always seemed out of place for someone representing a western New York district. But she was repeatedly re-elected — "including a narrow victory in 2014 — and was the longest-serving member of Congress from New York when she died. Gov. Cuomo has announced there will be a special election to fill her seat in the House.

there weren't any Toys-R-Us by me growing up. We had Kiddie City, which was a great and massive toy store that had everything imaginable. When I finally went in a Toys-R-Us, it reminded me of Kiddie City but a little smaller.

this racetrack was near my parents old house in my old stomping grounds. once just a race track and a great place to watch Triple Crown races and bet the ponies with your buddies over a few beers. Then it added a sports bar lounge and then PA was allowed casinos and now it's a huge casino and horse track. Too many damn bells and whistles. They are trying to keep customers away from AC. My older brother, who is an Iron Worker, helped build one of the casino towers.

This racing accident was awful as he landed head first into the ground at a high speed. He leaves a 7 yr old son behind and a wife. Sad.
