Cousins was a market value guy who has averaged 4,000 yards and 25 TDs his entire starting career. It is what it is..I could counter that argument that Brees is underpaid...but it wouldn't be true. He is still collecting on past bonuses along with his new $25M per year contract.

Well past bonuses has nothing to do with being under or overpaid. That is all money he was owed before. Cap money =/= player money once you get into extensions. That's why we always hear the term new money.

 

If Thompson wasn't there, I was leaning him. But then I likely don't trade up anyways.
