Will the Steelers sign anyone? I don't think they can fix the defense with just draft picks.

 

They should be all over Bowman

 

Sounds like they are going to release Mitchell, move Davis to FS. Typically the Steelers stay out of the first round of FA, and grab a second tier free agent

 

If they do that...go get Derwin James....you will think your seeing #43 for the next 10-12 yrs

 

Villanueva restructured his contract saving $4 million. They have space to sign someone.

 

Must mean a free agent signing is forthcoming. They usually don't create room until they need it.

In typical Steeler fan fashion they trashed him his first 3 seasons. Turned out to be an outstanding backup, probably would be an upgrade to Foster going forward.

Technically he isn't under contract until he signs the deal but point taken. Honestly I'm with you in rescinding the offer and taking a cheaper FA and drafting another to replace him.

Lewis got a 4 year $20 million deal, with $3 million in incentives. Didn’t see details for Crowell’s deal

 

Dion Lewis, Carlos Hyde, Isaiah Crowell, and Jerck McKinnon have new deals. I guess the Steelers will not pick up a decent RB in FA

 

That should be the least of their worries....get some LBs and a safety

 

The Browns signed Carlos Hyde. Does this mean they are going to pass on Saquon Barkley?

 

I wouldn’t pass on Barkley if I was them.
