The Ditch part deux

a Nascar fan likes the Flyers - that's a first. I know a ton of Flyers fans and none like Nascar. haha. Hell, out of all the people I know, no one likes Nascar.

 

Flyers win over Winnipeg. I got my sister center ice blue line tix row 2 for Christmas for the Jets game. They live outside of Lancaster, so I get them 1 matinee game a year for Christmas as it's a far ride for her and her husband to attend games.. She didn't believe me when I told her how great the seats were. she sent me a pix of her view. I said "I told you so!" Makes it all worth it to make her so happy. She loves the Flyers and not many woman I know can even spell hockey, let alone be a dedicated fan like her. She ditched HS to attend one of the Flyers Cup parades. She's my second oldest sister, so she is an old school fan. I was 4 or 5 then. haha.

 

Tonight is the rocket richard matchup, Laine vs OV, 40 goals a piece

 

OV gets the first one, 41-40.

He might end up being a 30 goal guy. Not this year but it’s possible going forward. Will probably always be remembered for the ridiculous courting process but that’s really more about the media in the slowest time of year than anything else. He chose FA over Nashville and really that’s all he did. Lennie made it a daily circus and Buffalo trading for his rights just added fuel to the fire.

I’m still terrified of them as a Broonz fan. Caps have won the last hundred games head to head.

Pens are the best team in the east. Back to back champs found ways to get it done 2 years running. Until someone can prove otherwise I’m betting on those filthy bastards.
