Part of me REALLY didn't want to pull the trigger on a QB at #2. Their is some really nice top end talent in this draft at non-QB positions. But with so many teams having QB's right at the end of their careers or no QB at all I figured I would wind up with like my QB6 by the time #34 came around. It was just too steep a drop for securing the future.

 

And they can continue their post-Marino tradition of having a bad one.

 

Wow. I figured he'd gone in the second at best after the combine.

 

The thing with Allen is he just isn't ready, but I wouldn't call him bad.

I hate Allen's tape. He is going to be something of a learning experience for me and my QB evals I think.

 

Would you have considered Barkley at #2 had I taken Mayfield first?

 

Well if you hate Allen's tape, then you are right there with me on those evals. I have him no better than a second round flyer as a developmental QB, same as I had Kizer last year...and I drafted Kizer last year, ironically with the same pick the Browns took him IRL.

Wow, I've been stunned by a few of these picks so far.

 

Chargers are on deck...Will listen to trade offers, though not looking to move down too far...

 

Green Bay would be great for Ridley IMO. He wouldn't be asked to be THE guy, and would have a future hall of fame QB making life easy for him on the field.

 

I think Ridley is a really great player. I was hoping his combine would have knocked him down enough that I'd be able to get him with the Rams. I'm not convinced he can be a #1, but he should be a great #2.

 

I'm here. I've got a guy in mind but would move back if I get an offer very soon.
