Oh, my apologies... Well Tyrod is pretty obvious We will be using 3 and 4 receiver sets with Haley, so, if Coleman is still on the roster, I would imagine he would still be used. Probably more like Higgins for Landry. As for CB, we use 3 at any given time. He could fall anywhere on that level. They don't have to replace the #1 player at any position, just an upgrade to the position overall.
We don’t disagree, bud. We absolutely got better on paper. I just want to see it on the field. To add another hashtag. #improvementsonpapermeand*ck
Not pleased with the Shelton move. Mainly because I hate Belichek and think he got the better of us, and I'm convinced he'll be able to squeeze a lot more out of Shelton than the Browns ever did. Plus it creates a hole we didn't have before, but overall, I like that Dorsey is remotely concerned about Hue's feelings about QB, and I'm all for signaling Hue that he's got some "proving to do". I do think he's concerned about Joe Thomas's return, and wants him to know the "incremental" approach, and the gathering of assets for the 5 year plan is secondary to "winning now". Hooray! He's stocking the cupboard with groceries for dinner tonight, not next Easter. Now the cook is on the line to make the meals. Dilly Dilly
How many current Browns players are calling their agents three times a day now? Things just went "postal" in Cleveland, and the conductor's calling "all aboard". You're in or you're out. If your in be all in. Coleman's gotta be sweating bullets, Gordon's tossed his bong in Lake Erie, and the rest are hitting the gym, or packing their bags. Things are going to be different come fall this year. No more "wait until next year" mentality. Thanks Sashi for setting it up. Dorsey will reap the rewards, but you are to commended for not caving on McCarren and protecting what was no longer yours. Wasn't a fan of your player selection, but by making "next year" your mantra, you did it. Maybe I'll miss your dollars and picks approach at some point, but right now i'm loving me some "right now" attitude. That should be emblazoned on the doorway for all to see when camp opens this year. Right Now !
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...rough-who-emerged-at-the-nfl-scouting-combine ^^^Good read...I agree on several potential "diamonds"....
Jason LaConfora reporting Browns one of three teams hot after Allen Robinson. How amazing would THAT be?
^^^What a shock, he comes with that. smh...... We are Browns fans stopper....Pryor has been a potential target for Cleveland from the moment he said he'd love to come back and be a part of this organization, but do you really think we would be upset about coming away from free agency with Jarvis Landry and Allen Robinson? Get real...and quit tryin to stir.
Sorry for the delay in answering . . . Your post kinda got lost amongst an internal pissing contest. Admitedly, I was a fan of Shelton when he was drafted. I chalked his 1st year up to just being a rookie. Even so, he showed some promise. In his 2nd year, it looked like the film exposed him a bit. Then last year, I think the switch to a 4-3 did him no favors. Off the field, I can't recall any negative press on him. He seems to keep his nose clean.

lol! It's a Browns fan tradition like no other! Danny Shelton seems like a great guy off the field. He embraced Cleveland from the git, and seemed (from an outside perspective) to be a real "team first" type player... hopefully the change of scenery works out for him...He hasn't been terrible, just less than expected IMO for a #12 overall pick..
Wow! Can you imagine? I think these guys might have tied for the NFL lead in tackles, or it was really close...... Talk about a couple tackling machines.
Allen Robinson and Preston Brown are my two big free agents... Patrick Robinson and Eric Reid are both names that come to us as veterans...Robinson's career is in it's twilight, but he could still be effective as a nickel. Reid comes with baggage as one of the more relevant National Anthem participants...so he might not be in high demand. Dorsey seems like the type of guy that doesn't give a shit if he helps the team get stronger.
https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...pree-reportedly-left-other-nfl-teams-stunned/ Who else were we negotiating with/for??
Well I'm glad you didn't bid me up for Preston Brown in the GMO...He was a favorite target of mine as well, and very much needed in San Diego. I'd love for the Browns to go after him. IMO, he's a more athletic version of D'Qwell Jackson...
