Actually, I have quoted exactly what you said...You expanded on an afterthought 2 hours later...but WHAT YOU SAID was Garrett was overrated, based on your example of Lawson having 1.5 more sacks than him on the year. What about Garretts 32 tackles to Lawson's 16? Again...11 games to 16. Cincinnati isn't relying on just a rookie and a 2nd year 2nd round player to get their pressures, their roster includes veterans Carlos Dunlap, Michael Johnson and Geno Atkins, some of the best in the business... The Browns are getting there, but they need to build an arsenal AND more importantly, the good players need to play.
Depodesta is there to make sure the salary cap stays in line, nothing more. He doesn't have a call on personnel decisions...Nor does Jim Haslem, but after forking over a BILLION $$$, he has every right to.
I wish I could speak slowly so you could understand, but since I'm typing I would have to rely on you to read slowly... The Browns have NO veteran backups...NONE, Sashi didn't care about backup positions at all..zero, zilch, nothing was spent on backups. When your two best pass rushers, in Garrett (missed 5 games) and Ogbah (missed 7 games) are out, there was no semblence of pass rush. They have two good pieces there when healthy. Now that Dorsey is there, he will add quality backup players and those statistics will change...let's talk after the season.
Got me a new toy today. Honda nc700x DCT.....Now all I need is some actual Spring weather.. GO BROWNS! The Chinese calender says this is the year of the dog...jus sayin. This dawg is ready to roll...
The Browns just traded 2 yet to be announced draft picks for Jarvis Landry and are working on an extension.
It's already being reported that both sides are working on a new contract. He won't be playing on the tag in 2018
