I guess that shows you how dumb those stats really are....Carl Lawson who had more sacks than Garrett and the Bengals were top 5 in QB pressure...yet somehow they rank Garrett #1 and you believe it lol
That is their draft position, although Myles did in fact lead all rookies in edge pressures, despite only playing in 11 games. He had the highest edge grade among all rookies.
Proof is in the pudding Garrett was a bust his rookie yr....whether he played 16 or 11 games...they supposedly shored up their pass rush adding him and they were last in pressures by a wide margin
Your as in you arent paying Sherman or anybody else so its easy to say pay the man and make it happen
You do realize Garrett got 7 sacks in 11 games, while it took Lawson 16 to get to 8.5, right? You never cease to amaze
He was a situational pass rusher, he went in when it was optimal to put pressure on the QB...That's his ONLY job. THAT's why he was a 4th round pick, it's the only thing he can do. Yet...you would have someone believe he should be rated higher than Myles Garrett because he had 1.5 sacks on the year more.
Thats not what I said....what I said was Cincy got more bang for their buck w Lawson who had more sacks and they applied a top 5 pressure in the NFL why the Browns spent a #1 pick on a guy who was last in the league in pressure by a wide margin...think about it...thy have used a 1st overall pick, 2nd round pick, 2nd round pick and 3rd round pick on DEs in the last couple of yrs and only mustered 142 pressures....oh while blitzing the most in the league which should free up those DEs in 1 on 1 situations
Must be in Cleveland for a layover...Or maybe he has family here...It's OBVIOUSLY not to talk to our front office about a job...Just ask stopper.
I never said he wouldnt talk....havnt they learned yet that vets come here for a huge pay day and collect a check or raise the price tag....just not a smart FO
If you followed this team, you would know it's a new F/O. But you don't... so you didn't. Or, more likely, you just vomit words, thoughts, and baseless opinions and then only shift from them once they're convenient.
