Ask O.J. what he thought of The Electric Company...(hint) not a kids show that comes on after Sesame Street... Better yet, in honor of Jerry Kramer finally getting in to the HoF, just check out his book, Instant Replay... If you have a real difference maker up front, it can put a team over the top. Art Modell wanted Ozzie to take Lawrence Phillips...Ozzie said "no, we are taking Jonathon Ogbah"... The rest is history.
Josh Gordon got his 23 & Me testing back and thought there was a typo when it said he's 38% thoroughbred race horse, 25% T-800, among others.

USA Today mock draft has a trade with the Broncos for #1 and I believe SAS will be most pleased with their picks....... http://ftw.usatoday.com/2018/03/201...llen-browns-broncos-josh-rosen-saquon-barkley
It would be smarter to take Mayfield first, because with the Bell negotiations could you imagine if he was picked before Ben in the same draft? He would think he is more valuable than Ben. Don’t let that potential come up with Barkley & Mayfield. Barkley has stated Bell is his idle.
So as of now there are rumors that the following players would be available for trade, or are being cut: Richard Sherman Kam Chancellor Ndomakon Suh (I know the spelling is wrong) Tyran Mathieu Jarvis Landry With the low prices being paid for players of relatively equal or greater ability, I think the Browns should jump in and make as much of this happen as possible with a mix of swapping same round picks + future picks. I hate "winning the off season", since we seemed to do that for years with little to no results, but it sure as hell is a start.
Couldn't agree more!! Mathieu should be a priority...I'm just not certain how it will get done as the Cards have a $9.3M dead cap from his bonus. I think they can split that and have it count half this year and half next...but not sure how that works. I would GIVE them our 3rd rounder right now for him. He's signed through 2021 and it is actually pretty reasonable. Next, as soon as today, Sherman is reportedly going to be released. Sign him...he's 29, but should have 2-3 more years in him. He's coming off an injury season, but if he is a shadow of his 2016 self, he is a major upgrade and opens the door for a young guy to come in and learn. I think his price tag will be high...thinking around $13M per for 3 years...but still less than Trumaine Johnson is going to bring, I believe...and you can sign him as soon as the ink dries on his release from the Seahawks. Don't have to wait for business to open next week. They would be the top at their position on the open market, get them signed and watch this defense improve immediately.
Well, not with Talib obviously...I hope they don't move all the way down to 5 anyway. They have got to have strong feelings on a player one way or the other...Take him and move on. Whether it is a QB, DE, RB, DB...I don't care. With all the research they do, they have got to have that one prospect that is sitting at the top of their list. Take him already...Then they have a bonus pick at 4..do the same damn thing. With two of the top 4 picks, if you did your due diligence, how could you be wrong twice in the first 4 picks...Unless of course you are simply taking a QB because you need one and you don't actually feel confident in any of the QBs. THAT could be disaster, but otherwise, if you have the players ranked, take them and move on.
My reaction to seeing Josh Allen's name first: Me, once I read thoroughly and see the Browns' choices:
Meh, whomever is blind enough, it's on them...if that team is the Browns, I will start my Hail Mary's immediately asking for a miracle and I'm not even Catholic...I will always support whomever they choose in the draft. It's such a crap shoot, you never know what kind of player you are getting, no matter how much research you think you did...I am more worried about getting something wrong and hitting another reset button on the entire organization and putting us back into a perpetual hell of déja vu. My hope is that this coaching staff (especially Hue) gets it going and that Dorsey utilizes every possible asset to the best of HIS ability to choose free agents and draft picks wisely...and we are at the end of the never ending tunnel of despair. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter who I like and want...it matters what the professionals think is the best options...For me that definitely would NOT be Josh Allen...but, if they see something else, well, they are the pros.
Chance of you saying anything positive Browns related, less than the chance of Sherman coming here... Although, your odds of Mayfield #1 overall are so far off, it even makes you look silly. 1% chance...lol, care to change that number at all yet?
