You do realize they are also participating in free agency, right? It isn't just the draft picks and loss of Joe Thomas that will determine the 2018 roster...but, nice positive post...

Just to level-set. In my quick mock, I let loose a couple potential free agent signings and drafted. So here's a re-cap:
    • Sign CB Kyle Fuller
    • Sign CB Trumaine Johnson
    • Sign QB A.J. McCarron
    • Convert Jabrill Peppers from FS to SS
    • Convert Jason McCourty from CB to FS
    • Draft the class' best skill position player (Barkley)
    • Draft one of the top three QBs (Mayfield)
    • Draft a top three cornerback (Alexander)
    • Draft a potential stater at DE (Hubbard)
    • Draft two pass-catchers - an area of weakness - Gesicki, Miller
    • Draft a replacement right tackle - an area of weakness (O'Neill)
    • Draft a gifted, fast linebacker (Griffin)
And he has us +2 in the win column.

We got a +2 in the win column just by Todd Haley assuming play-calling duties. That's a 7-9 free agency and draft. At a minimum.

Thanks for the read, @Duff_Beer_Doug ... even if it had to come from Cabot. Thankfully, she seemed to contain her lust for Josh Allen long enough to write something semi-decent.

    Mayfield measured between 9 1/4 and 9 1/2. Andy Dalton's hand size is 9 1/2. Joe Flacco is 9 5/8. Roethlisberger is 9 3/8.

  5. They lost Thomas?

  6. Joyner...respect lol

  7. Thats why they play the game....not assumptions....you had them winning how many games last yr? Like I keep saying other teams will add FA's and draft picks...if the Browns were the only team then of course they would take a big leap

I had them starting Cody Kessler.

    A lot can change.

    He got transition tagged.....

Bears assigned the transition tag to CB Kyle Fuller.

The tag is worth $12.971 million, providing $2 million in savings from the franchise tag. It's not exclusive, but gives the Bears the right of first refusal should Fuller sign an offer sheet elsewhere. With plenty of cap space, the Bears will almost certainly be matching any offer Fuller gets. If they ended up passing, they would receive zero compensation if Fuller walked. The Bears badly bungled the overall situation by not exercising Fuller's fifth-year team option last spring.

No sweat - front load that deal and make Chicago regret it if they match the offer.

Or make him an Alex Mack offer and then sign him in 2020.

One way or another, I'd like to see the Browns get Barkley and Mayfield...Even if it means a trade up from #4 to #2....Let's get those two guys, and get them on the field with Gordon and Njoku...

Wow!!!!! All of the top 4 QB's 1 thru 4. Don't think I've ever heard of that happening. I'd say if your trades were to happen, we'd probably get Darnold. Really have a feeling that he's the #4 out of those QB's. And I'm with SAS on Darnold.........I'd rather drink bleach.

So what's the price tag for moving up from #4 to #2? I'm assuming one of our 2nd rounders, but which one and if it's not our first 2nd then what else do they have to throw in?
