Stats. Mean. D*ck. Also, 30 quarterbacks have had back-to-back 4,000+ yards passing. Not sure that's a huge accomplishment.
22nd in points allowed. I guess if Jameis could score more TDs with the unreal amount of weapons he has, his team might have done better. 2017: 22nd points, 32nd yards 2016: 15th points, 23rd yards 2015: 26th points, 10th yards So since you seem to only account for yards (remember, points are how games are won/loss and 'stats mean d*ck')... In 2015, he won six games with the "10th best" defense but in 2017, he won 3 games with the "32nd best" defense. So while the defense slid 31%, his win count slid by 50%. 50% > 31%. Ergo, he was worse for his team than the defense was. Keep him out of the Ubers and in the film rooms and maybe he'll reach Carson Palmer status one day.
That's not what you said. It's hard enough interpreting your text-like posts, #PigeonChess arguments, #StopperTheorem applications, and - just now coining this one, #SMD (stats mean d*ck) willy-nilly assignments. I can't read into your thoughts when you don't post them down.
Well he's only been in the league for 3 seasons and didn't do it last yr...mayb for you it's a hard concept to figure out
How Baker Mayfield Compares to Russell Wilson Darrell Bevell (former coordinator for Russell Wilson in Seattle): Too bad he wasn't 6'4" so he could so over those guys... QB1
^^^^THAT!!!! THAT is what sets Baker Mayfield far above the rest IMO. That is an example of "it factor" when it comes to QB.... Those comments show how passionate Mayfield is about football. People that still are throwing out the Johnny comparisons are just plain uninformed. Baker knows that it takes MORE to be great. I'm sold. Are you kidding me? Four times a week, he was gathering his key guys to work on football preparation. And that was above and beyond what was mandatory....That's freakin beautiful is what that is. Sign him up!
I shared the DeDe Westbrook quote earlier, but remember... this guy (Mayfield) drove 30 minutes one-way out of his way before practice every day to pick up and drop off Westbrook. Because, in Westbrook's words:
Like I said, one of two things will happen April 26th. We'll either draft Mayfield, and have a successful 10+ year run. Or we won't draft Mayfield and a new regime will be hammering out these same arguments about the next QB to be our "savior" in 2-3 seasons.
