In a presser today, Biscotti was asked if Ozzie was on the hotseat. He reminded them that Ozzie will step down after 2018 as GM when his contract runs out. He said DecCosta will take over and Ozzie will remain on and become the highest paid scout in the NFL. So after 2018 we'll have a new GM and depending on how they do, maybe a new coach too.

Well, that's fair. He's a great athlete and competes, but as a sleeper in middle rounds he's be a better pick up.
Wasn't really that impressed with him for all the hype and as good as he was in Arizona. He had his moments but I'm not sure we're ready to go Safety in rd1 unless one falls naturally to us.
Jarvis Landry was tagged so he's not coming to Bmore on a FA deal. If the Fins are looking to trade him I don't think they're going to get much play for him with an average top 5 salary. Certainly not from us anyway knowing Ozzie's cap management. EDIT - This is going to drive up the value for other FA WRs like Robinson, Richardson, Watkins, Gordon, and even Wallace now too. Best bango for the money imo: Willie Snead.
Yo can you guys see the GMO exercise at the top of the forums? No Ravens fans wanted to do it so I had to step in. If you can't I'll show you what I have so far with FA winding down and the draft approaching.
I mean its so far now that I'm the Ravens and it's too late to pass them on. I'll post what I have done so far in a moment.

@Joe. Would love it if all those transpired for REAL! Ozzie is stepping down from GM next year. Maybe you should arm wrestle DeCosta for the job?
If you guys have draft suggestions then I'll welcome them. Just remember the moves already made and do so in a PM.
If Ridley and Suttonare gone at #16, I really don't want any of the other projected 1st rd receivers bc I don;t belive they're worth it. One guy that come to mind for a value pick would be Maryland's DJ Moore. By all accounts he's has that attitude like Steve Smith or Stefon Diggs (who we missed). Maryland tends to produce some very good receivers. I wish the Ravens thought as much.
I read on NFL.com that the Ravens are taking a hard look at Donte Moncrief. Chances are that he's signed he's offered a one-year "prove it" deal. For that I wouldn't mind taking a chance as long as there is no dead money attached to the contract. I am on record as saying I'm not a Moncrief fan nor do I think now that he'll sudden turn it around in Baltimore. I believe he's a bust. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000919742/article/donte-moncrief-on-ravens-free-agency-radar While Jarvis Landry was franchised he might be out of reach for the Ravens in trading. However, Allen Robinson is not being franchised or resigned and will hit free agency. Allen would bring that steady, sure handed, workamn-like receiver like Anquan Boldin that we/Joe need and likely at a better value than Landry especially if Wallace is retained. According to Bleacher Report Jimmy Graham is set to hit free agency having himself shot down rumors of trades and franchise tags. He'd be in high demand and has had a few disappointing seasons with Seattle. Russell Wilson reportedly does not want to let Jimmy go and the Saints seem to be looking for a reunion as well according to nola.com. This one is kind of risky despite, at one point, him contending with Gronk as the best TE in the league. At 31 with some major injury history, I'm not sure if he can get back to form. The Ravens certainly know how to use TEs and if he was 85% of his former self he'd be worth it and still a top 5 TE. We'll still have a healthy Boyle, Gillmore and Williams this season so one will have to go. Last, the Ravens resigned Urban to a 1-year deal. Prudent considering his health history and obvious upside.
also, to "tag" ( or not to tag in this case) on to what Faulk reported, Sammy Watkins was not tagged by the Rams so he is set to be a free agent as well. I am happy the market got a few other WR options to help keep the price in check, to some small degree anyway.
A lot of his problem in Seattle was the offense just not knowing how to use him. Sure injury and age have caught up to him a little but he did reestablish himself as a Red Zone Target last season and a tone of teams would love to have that. I know the Steelers will not be in the market for him but would love to see him in the Red Zone just no way we are fitting him in cap wise.
Ok, so if we are ranking the free agent skill position players that you would want on the Ravens, based on the cost, age and skill level, how would you rank them as far as personal preference (not really taking into account reality here, for purposes of daydreaming only....) For me it is the following: Allen Robinson Jimmy Graham Paul Richardson Marquis Lee Jarvis Landry Sammy Watkins Albert Wilson Ryan Grant The players I would NOT want us to sign at all are (solely based on the fact I just don't think they are good and I would not want to root for them): Terrell Pryor John Brown Michael Floyd Danny Amendola Donte Moncrief Jordan Matthews
Andy Levitre became a FA in our exercise. I put in an offer and am at my limit. I haven't restructured anyone yet so freeing a few million on a minor restructure or 2 won't hurt.
