Wow, I really do not think Landry is a #1 receiver. Just my opinion.

I think in Miami Stills is #1 and he is signed through 2021. Landry gets tagged because of the FA status.

You probably already know that, so I apologies if I'm misunderstanding something here.

I think it's Devante Parker they're looking at to be the eventual #1.

I am just talking about the value of the player regardless of position. Landry is making almost as much as AB. Crack is whack

Landry is really good, but he is a 2nd-Tier WR at best. No way does he deserve AB money.

    https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...ht-be-brace-dependent-for-rest-of-his-career/

Wentz may need brace for remainder of career. Injury is equivalent to RG3 with 3 tears. To all the Eagles fans out there (me and LAJOE) this is why I wouldn't move Foles just yet. Two Doctors differ on his timetable to return. May have to wear a brace for the remainder of his career. I guess his running scrambling days are over ?

Wentz is already on record stating he's not going to change the way he plays. Most of the time braces are just strength enhancing, support and preventative. Many players on all football levels wear a brace. It wont slow him down, it will only help him endure more wear n tear I would think.

I'm not a Doctor, but I have trashed a few Holiday Inns in my rock & roll day.

with a student body of only 800, it was hard to escape them. they were like piranha at a dorm party. fresh meat walks in and they would be all over them.

ouch i dont know what the enrollment numbers were when i was in but i think the ratio was like 7 or 8 females to every male (or at least it seemed like that maybe it was really 5-1 but my classes it was always high female to male).

  17. firehalo Guest

I like high females. Like em when they’re not high too.

I went to a very small college. since graduation in 95, the college changed names to a University and built several new dorms, facilities and classrooms and enrollment is now 3600 ! I liked a small school with a class size of 10-12 kids. only downside was trying to get into a easy class that was full. they would allow 1-2 extra kids max to get in in case someone dropped the class early. my brother was at UVA and his lab was 700 kids alone. way too big for me.

Report: Dolphins will cut Julius Thomas, Lawrence Timmons

Last year, former Broncos tight end Julius Thomas reunited with former Broncos offensive coordinator Adam Gase in Miami. After only one season, they’ll be going their separate ways, again.

Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports that the Dolphins will cut Thomas, clearing up $6.6 million in cap space. Thomas (pictured) arrived via trade last year with the Jaguars. In his only season in Miami, Thomas caught 41 passes for 388 yards and three touchdowns.

Also due to be cut is linebacker Lawrence Timmons. That move will create another $5.4 million in cap space. Timmons signed as a free agent in 2017, after 10 years with the Steelers. He created a stir by temporarily going AWOL early in the season.

Salguero points out that the Dolphins also could choose to terminate the fifth-year option on tackle Ja'Wuan James, creating $9.34 million in cap space. It would be part of an effort to reduce the team’s cap burden. Currently, the Dolphins have $185 million or so in cap commitments for 2018; the cap is expected to be in the vicinity of $180 million.

As Salguero also notes, trading franchise-tagged receiver Jarvis Landry (or rescinding the tender) immediately would create $16.2 million in cap space. Restructurings of other veteran contracts could kick the can by pushing cap space into future years.

Whatever happens, changes are coming to the Miami roster. Starting with Thomas and Timmons. (PFT)

Report: Jets won’t give Kirk Cousins a “blank check”

The Jets will pay “whatever it takes” to get quarterback Kirk Cousins. Unless they won’t.

Amid multiple reports suggesting that the Jets will be taking the Carmen Policy approach to negotiations with Kirk Cousins, Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports that the Jets “aren’t going to to hand Cousins a blank check.” Putting it another way, Mehta writes that the Jets “are not going to try to bring [Cousins] aboard by any means necessary.”

That said, the Jets still want Cousins, and they’ll try to get him. But they won’t go crazy financially in an effort to get him.

A five-year, $150 million contract isn’t out of line, however, given that 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo has gotten $137.5 million over five years. Cousins would become the first $30 million-per-year quarterback; given increases in the salary cap over the last five years, the market should have surpassed $30 million per year by now.

    Soon, it will.

Sounds to me they changed their tune in Jets land. If they expect to entice Kirk, they better leave the check amount blank.
