Just phuqing forget it Stopper...this is what you do.

I said this what I thought Dorsey would love to see....Not that I think it will happen.

  2. OK...well every GM would love to trade down accumulate picks and get their guy.....hey my ideal scenario if Im NE GM is that Q Nelson falls to #31 and we get our guy...you see what I mean

Not Mayfield #1 overall, but Mayfield in the Top 10 and Josh Rosen, you know... not.

And this is your guy, Mel Kiper. Well, second guy... Walter Cherpinski is clearly your Guy1.

Then you spread a lot of misinformation and un-truths to the sports media, maybe acting as an "anonymous" GM or scout and say things like, "I wouldn't take Baker Mayfield at #1"... knowing you're a team drafting at #5 or #6 and have him rated as the best QB in the class (and again, it's not close).

    It's like there's a mathematical proof for you, @showstopper.

For every quote or example you use to disprove or argue someone's point, the exact same quote can be used to disprove, discredit, or argue your own. I'm going to start calling it the #StopperTheorem.

  7. Believe me Kiper or Walter arnt my guys....their 2 of 20-30 people who do mocks...I believe in my own evals and don't need those guys...as stated by Irish a team like Chic has a couple of needs and may go WR instead of a guy who doesn't exist in this draft in T Edwards

Moreso pro Joe, based on your post.

I am pro Kirk though, I think I have established that.

I don't think the Redskins have had any better a roster than the current Browns roster (minus some 3rd string guys that should be replaced with "real football players" this off season) since Kirk has taken over as the starter. We have already shown last year's starting roster according to your source, was worse than the Brown's 0-16 roster and he won 7 games with the Skins...

I don't see a reason with $110M+ in cap space and 4 of the top 35 draft picks, that we can't find enough pieces to this roster puzzle to push this team into the playoffs in 2018 WITH Kirk Cousins...That's paying Cousins to come here, and having enough left over to add some other key pieces.

That would be building for the present....and building for the future.

Cousins doesn't doom your future (that is if you believe in Cousins, which I do), he has another 8 years in him easily. What he does do is give every player on the field for the Browns in 2018 legitimacy.

As much as I like Baker Mayfield, he doesn't legitimize ANYTHING about the present or the future, he is merely another rookie prospect that I really really like.

  9. Point was your signing your franchise QB in Cousins but your hoping Mayfield falls to you at #21..thats bad strategy when you could just take the guy

"T. Edwards" is Tremaine Edmunds, who's a linebacker from Virginia Tech who this guy (@SAS) said back in late December early January would be a guy I'd take in the second who's since gotten Top 10 hype.

    It's like I'm a prophet or something...

Like I said, I didn't really mean it...it was a statement to make a point

I was never suggesting that we don't take a OT either in free agency or the draft...I also feel it is time to plan for the future without Joe, but I certainly want him in his spot come September if he is healthy and able.

I would love to get a guy that can learn from him for a couple of years at either 33 or 35.

I have to agree with stopper here. If you are signing Cousins, you are going ALL IN on Cousins and you use everything at your disposal to put the pieces around him....Now, once that first round is over, all bets are off. They could take a QB at any point after round one if they think someone is worth developing.

If we take Josh Allen #1 overall though...I may go on hiatus just to eliminate that negativity from my life until the Browns reset with a new QB, HC and possibly GM BY 2020. (HC in 2019, QB and GM in 2020)

  13. I know exactly who he is but the guy who gets paid the big bucks can't even put the right name

  14. SAS M.V.P. Rams Chargers

He also had Josh Allen going at #11, so twice.

My point is this is yet another guy valuating Mayfield ahead of Rosen.

I'm taking that Browns vacation with you, buddy. Selection of Josh Allen might finally break me.

It's crazy... you can see some NFL team careening towards this colossal bust but no one seems to want to say or do anything about it.

Any scout not calling Josh Allen the rightful bust and/or undraftable player that is he is complicit in some poor franchise's destruction.

  17. Thats great but we can have this discussion until the end of time but until they play in the NFL we wont have the answer

  18. SAS M.V.P. Rams Chargers

Technically, the draft is in 64 days, so we only have about that long to discuss.

What's crazy is that Rosen is my QB2 and I've said multiple times I'd be okay if Cleveland went with that choice, I just don't see it happening.

We just need you to admit that if Mayfield was 6'4" 216 - and not 6'0" 216 - he'd already be the #1 overall pick.

    PFF Grades over that time...

    2015 - 83.2
    2016 - 88.1
    2017 - 79.2

  20. What if Corey Coleman was 6'4 instead of 5'11 he's probably a top 10 pick
