Tampa had the #15 overall defense heading into 2016. The offensive line was 18th in sack-percentage.

    Try again.

    You really are clueless...

It isn't Cousins added to the 2017 roster = playoffs...

It's Cousins (who probably would have won 5-7 games with last years roster)
ANOTHER $ 85M in cap space AFTER you sign him
AND to top it off 6 of the first 65 rookies, including 2 in the first 4 of the draft....

So, yeah, he GIVES US OUR BEST (and possibly only chance at being a playoff contender in 2018). Your sight is so near, that you can't even fathom possibility.

  3. I can guarantee you there are more QBs drafted top 10 w success than non drafted FA's...you throwing out a few names means nothing

  4. SAS M.V.P. Rams Chargers

    1. Technically, Tom Brady wasn't undrafted... I wasn't naming UDFAs

    2. You missed the point (shock)

    3. A great QB can come from anywhere

  5. 6 of the 1st 65 rookies...
you act like no other teams get draft picks.....how bout Indy w #3 pick and a healthy Luck...that isnt in better position than the Browns? I wonder if Denv w the #5 pick and lets say the sign a FA QB....their not in better position...Cincy smoked the Browns twice this yr and have the #12 pick.....the Browns are NOT the only team that has $ and draft picks...now if they were they would be closing the gap on other teams

  6. Your right except for the Browns cant find it since '99:confused:

  7. Heading into '16 and where did they finish? #23 and in 2017 they finished #32....solid 2 yrs and I didnt bother looking at sacks cause I know their OL is awful

  8. SAS M.V.P. Rams Chargers

    That changes April 26, 2018.

    Welcome to Cleveland, Baker...

    Nope... heading into 2017.

As far as sacks go... 16th in 2016 and 18th in 2017. No real change there.

  10. Where do you get your stats for defense

  11. Dont you hear all the teams knocking down the door to trade up to #1 and take Mayfield...only the Browns would consider him at #1 thats typical

    1. They can't trade the pick yet... only agree to trade the pick.

    2. The process is far from over. Interviews (a huge component, especially for Mayfield) will be way more telling. He's already proven he's the best - and it's not close - on the field.

    3. Teams could have tried to offer and the Browns, seeing the next Brett Favre, politely declined.

Other teams see the next Johnny Manziel and don't want to spoil the Browns pitty party.

  15. It would be so typical for the Browns to take Mayfield at #1 and then wonder why their in the same boat in a couple of yrs smh

  17. Hey Gidion I wonder why Donnel Pumphrey wasnt the #1 pick in the NFL draft a couple yrs ago...hes the all time leading college rusher breaking Marshall Faulk's records at SD St...I wonder if being 5'8 and 180 lbs had anything to do w it

  18. SAS all time nightmare...the Browns sign Cousins to 4 yrs and use the #1 pick on Barkley(he says cant find holes ala T-Rich) and then at #4 takes Fitzpatrick who we know wont be as good as Derwin who falls to Cincy
