  1. RTTRUTH Legend Manager Colts

Glad I hung onto him in dynasty :boss:
If that was an honest question, the answer is no. And he's worth $9. People just don't need DT's I guess.

I think Tim was leaning to leave it as it was. I know the argument is that arbitration ruled he was a UFA before our lock so he could be a UFA before our lock already but the official stance is technically the league's original stance since they write the transactions. I'm not a fan since FA has barely started but I'm not making the call.

okay. fair enough. It was an honest question...Same as the last one, and they were both ignored.

So I've got Star Lotulelei for $9M.....That's all I wanted to know. I thought I read something in the rules about the bidder having the right to refuse it all together...

You have 24 hours from a winning bid to make the final decision. This gives you time to decide in case you won or might win multiple FAs and if you need to clear cap.

  5. TopDawg Legend

What if I just read a report that made me change my mind about wanting him? Can I just refuse him, even though I have the cap room?

  6. Torgo M.V.P. Manager Falcons

You do have that option, but if you decline to sign him, you also lose the right to go back and bid on him again.

You would have had competition for him at $6M. I'd say the obvious move at this point is to sign him for the $9M, scratch that off of your list of needs, and congratulate yourself for making such an effective preemptive strike.

You have 24 hours. It doesn't matter what happens. You can back out as long as you haven't said you signed him yet.

Out of pure curiosity, what did you read?? Or was that hypothetical?

It was only one season, but I read where he graded out particularly poor this past season in run defense, and that's what I really need him for.... When I made the bid, I was thinking of Star as a wide body, 2 blocker occupying force, that can free up LB's to make tackles, and now I need to determine if he is a player in decline, or if he wasn't healthy.....I'll probably take Torg's advice. need to think about it for a bit.

You can back out of your offer at anytime (prior to the 24 hour signing), but you cannot bid on any player that you have formerly rescinded an offer on.

  14. Campbell Administrator Manager Commissioner

For our exercise, Matt was able to RFA him so he will remain that way.

    @RTTRUTH
Give me a minute and I will get that other stuff taken care of for you.

  18. Umm... You made a mistake. Before this you bid $13m and then I made a bid for $14m in response. You have it now listed that i made a $13m bid when I really bidded $14m and that you're highest bidder despite not outbidding me. Simple mistake, figured I give you a heads up.

Irish you probably copy and pasted his post on page 18 and forgot to change the money and only did the teams.

    Your bid was illegal.
