MOREOVER... No QB got more praise or did better than Mayfield at both picking up and executing a "pro style" playbook at the Senior Bowl. No QB looked better/more comfortable taking snaps under center and executing the offense than Mayfield. No QB in the country learned their entire school's playbook in two-days or less like Mayfield. NO college QB executes a "pro-style" offense. Several schools that claim "pro-style" offenses simply have pro-style elements. DeShone Kizer came from one such school. So did every other USC quarterback since Carson Palmer (basically, Darnold's best-case scenario comp). YOUR BOY, Josh Rosen, had his worst season in college in 2016 when the Bruins switched to a "pro-style" offense. They went back to an imbalanced spread offense in 2017. Oklahoma runs a balanced spread offense.
@showstopper Dude... just say it: you're not comfortable with a hot-headed 6'0" quarterback. Every argument you make against Mayfield pushes your other guys down even further. There's literally no debate to be had or worth having. Repeat after me: "I, @showstopper, like Josh Rosen because he's 6'3" and 218 pounds and I like Sam Darnold because he's 6'4" and 220 pounds. I accept the many, many faults in their games and realize it is a product of both college football and their individual situations. I nevertheless am still ranking them above Baker Mayfield, who is superior in every facet of the game, because I, @showstopper, am not comfortable with a team drafting a 6'0" quarterback." There... was that so hard?
Point being a pro style offense...Winston was the best of the group by far....EJ never was 1st round material
Mechanics = Josh Rosen (hey!! - we agree on something) Intellect = Mason Rudolph (won't know for sure until the Wonderlic results, I suppose... ) Arm Strength = Josh Allen Height = Sam Darnold Accuracy = Mayfield
