the 1 thing I noticed last night for the Knights-Flyers game were how many Flyers fans were in Vegas. It seemed like a Flyers home game and you could actually hear a "lets go Flyers" chant in the last minute of the game.

 

I am not surprised. Vegas is supposed to be a place where the road team is at a larger percentage than all other venues. Fans are expected to schedule their Vegas trips around an NHL game.

For your old-timer gamers, here's something or ya...Nintendo refurbished their Nintendo NES console to have 32 retro games on there like Punchout, Donkey Kong, Tecmo Bowl etc. I spoke about this in November of 2016. Well hackers have taken the thing apart and put their own sim card or motherboard in the machines with 500-7000 games on them. I bought one from a hacker with 7000 games on it. He built the thing himself to look like the mini-NES models they are selling now. Guy is pretty creative. Well, it not only has 7000 games on it but from many older systems like Arcade games, Atari, Atari 2600, Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Collecovision, Gameboy, and many others. It has the Sega Genesis EA Sports Hockey from 93, 94, 95, 96, and 97 on there. I had to play the 93 one to bring back some old classic memories. Wow is it barbaric compared to games of today. Still cool though. I always enjoy a game of Hockey. It even has Blades of Steel on there. It was funny to see how many other hockey games game out back then. Wayne Gretzky had his own hockey game and the graphics were awful. haha

 

Lots of hockey tonight, fanoof gets on the board in his debut in LA. Will the sabres win another one?

 

It's a road game for Buffalo. They're odds of 2 points are much better.

 

Sabres aren't to be taken lightly down the stretch, they'll be the perfect spoilers.

Taylor Hall did something on Thursday night that no other New Jersey Devils player has in the team’s history.

With an assist on Nico Hischier‘s third-period goal, Hall extended his point streak to 16 games.

Hall has 11 goals and 24 points during the streak.

Pretty impressive... The Devils looked good against Carolina last night after dropping back down to Earth lately.

 

Sabres point streak for road games reaches 5, (4-0-1). They blow at home.

 

Just make sure they don't show up against the leafs.

 

Dan - the Flyers have goalie issues with Elliott out 6-8 weeks. Any chance Buffalo trades Robin Lehner ? Solid short-term solution.

 

You don't think crossing fingers that Neuvirth steps up is a good idea? He's healthy, right?

Florida has won 6 of the last 7. Won some defensive battles, won some shootouts. They're not playing the best teams in the world, but they're playing good hockey. Here's to hoping this keeps up. Huby switching to Trocheck's line, and Malgin coming on have made a ton of difference. If they can win at a similar pace over the rest of the season, a playoff berth isn't in doubt.
