Well that's great because I have no idea wth I'm doing, or where you guys came up with those numbers... Until we get to the draft, I'm gonna need plenty of help...I did warn ya.

Small request, for original round tenders, please list what round that actually refers to.

    Okay I'll try this again...

    CHARGERS

    RFA
WR Tyrell Williams - Original round tender $1,915,602

    ERFA
    CB Trevor Williams - $555,000
    RB Russell Hansbrough - $480,000

Original round refers to the round they were drafted in, if at all, a 3rd round player will get a 3rd round pick in return, a 4th a 4th and so on to undrafted, which will get no compensation.

Yes I know that. That's why it would be convenient to list what round an original round tender refers to. Otherwise people have to go look it up.

Tyrell Williams (UDFA) signed by Chargers in 2015 out of Western Oregon...

  12. How would placing a tender work in the case of player my team didn't draft. Example: The Seahawks signed Dion Jordon as a FA but he was originally drafted by Miami in the 1st round. Would an original tender placed on him be a 1st round tender?

  13. I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter which team originally drafted the player. Would still be a 1st round tender.

    Honest question here...

Can you apply the original round tender to a guy drafted in the first? I thought you had to use the first round tender value in that case?

  17. that very well could be true. If anyone knows for sure, please let me know.

I think you probably can just use the original round tender and have him be worth a first round pick. I had a read of the CBA and I can't see anything in there which refers to you having to tender a guy to at least the level at which they were drafted.

We have the rules for it somewhere last year and I am trying to find it. There are exceptions on where you can. I don't think it would apply to Dion Jordon here.

Dion Jordan is all good with the original round tender because nobody else selected in a later round got a 1st round tender. If that had been so than Dion would only net a 2nd as compensation. The same applies to 2nd round tenders and getting only a 3rd.

Look at Dominique Easley last year. He got an original tender of a 1st round pick. If anyone else got a 1st round tender then Easley would have only netted 1 2nd if signed away.
