So what’s the thinking on Wentz now? Maybe he’s overrated and Pederson is just a genius.

 

3rd time I've been asked here. Wentz is still great and I think better than Foles. I hope Pederson is a genius. He has definitely learned from mistakes the last 2 seasons. Funny though how Foles worked best in Wentz' system minus the scrambling. Foles has looked great and with his cheap contract is primo trade bait. Then again the Eagles may keep him for one more year just in case and the see next offseason on trading him.

 

Some idiot team will probably give up too much for Foles, I doubt he’s this effective without Pederson.

 

Probably not (without Pederson) but any team trading for him is trading for that contract. It will be expensive to trade for. If you think Foles will be your guy you can get him dirt cheap for 4 years barring an extension or holdout. That cap space alone is worth picks.

If someone does get him and he turns out to be great after all, no doubt Browns will spread a rumor they wanted to trade for him and offered a lot for him lol.
