Cornell won the NCAA Hockey Championship twice and beat Clarkson in the final both times. Now this is before the Sabres and Canucks even started playing in the NHL, but I wonder if it could happen again?
my Aunt lives in Syracuse and she is 84 now and has dementia. she spends the winter in Boca Raton, Florida. She spent too many winters in Syracuse and got smart and headed south for 5 months of the year.
ND has gone 2-2 in the last few weeks. Still holding at #2 but they better tighten it down as the pack is about to pass them in the polls.
Isn't repeating oneself a sign of dementia? If you say the same thing twice are you losing your marbles?
Eff the polls, they have to play others (not in their conference) in the frozen four. I would have them around 12th in my poll.
i already lost my marbles Dan. You know that. In all honesty -it's bc of the changes to this website Tim made last year. when you post consecutive messages it won't accept either. then if you hit POST REPLY, it will post one and not the other post. or it posts both of them. or it makes you wait a few seconds until you can post. it's a pain in the ass sometimes.
this isn't like their football team who picks and chooses who they play besides 5 games vs the ACC. I don't know much about their schedule but I think I saw they are part of a the Big 10 now for hockey. do they pick and choose their opponents more than other schools out of conference for scheduling?? I thought hockey was much more stricter than that and had the same schedule for all teams within their conferences? 34 -- Games 24 -- Big Ten games 20 - Home games 14 -- Road games 10 -- Non-conference games 10 -- Games against teams that participated in the 2017 NCAA Championship Home and away seems lopsided, but the rest looks solid.
Jesus hisself revealed this to me in a dream: He's a Cornell Big Red Hockey fan and only roots for Notre Dame in sports that don't really matter, (which is everything other than hockey, lacrosse, and wrestling).
Cat, NCAA sports are rigged. They cheat. Lesser in hockey that other sports, but they still cheat. HockeyBob was an influence and I can see where the river is diverted. Why does ND get 20 home games vs. 14 on the road? Revenue baby. It is all about money.
Trophy season is upon us, just gotta shut down the Gaudette line/take out those pesky Huskies tomorrow night and let Harvard and BU claw each other’s eyes out. Easy peasy, what could possibly go wrong?
I watched ND-PSU Friday night. I love how all the PSU students wear white and they call it "white out" like they do for certain football games. Cool venue from the looks of it in Happy Valley. Red-20 vs 14 seems unfair for sure. I agree pal.
Darkness prevailed twice at the TDBankofGillette Garden last night. That Gaudette is fun to watch, hope he lights up Oettinger. Rediis might have a full on Masshole on his roster in a year or two.
Gaudette with the hat trick and the best line in college hockey continues to steamroll as NU wins the Beanpot for the 1st time in 400 years. USAHockey blew it by not having this kid on the Olympic squad. Keith Primeau's son Cayden has improved drastically this season, Habs stole him in the 7th round last year.
