Not quite sure I get the Brady is cheating thing. If TB is signaling to the clock operator and he resets the clock we have not just Brady cheating, but a conspiracy.
the Pats lost to KC, blown out actually. not sure how that would make them 12-4 as opposed to 13-3. the Myles Jack play was deemed a pick and turnover, not sure where the gripe is there. the 2nd clip with the clock has nothing to do with Tom Brady or the Patriots but a mistake by the NFL and their time keeper. NFL makes tons of mistakes, theres no hiding from it but thinking there's a mass conspiracy............thats tinfoil hat wearing stuff. the video about the clock made by some guy in his Mom's basement is hilarious though. the ref smiling is a terrible look but it's taken so far out of context. He was telling Cam Fleming to relax after not making a call on Myles Jack for a late hit on the play. not throwing this at any individual but for many years Ive thought that people who blame the refs are losers, straight up. more often than not they werent athletes. i've thought that as an NCAA athlete, coach, and now just as a fan. youre gonna get screwed sometimes and youre gonna screw sometimes, it all more or less evens out and how you deal with it is what matters. ^not hard to find the irony in my signature here.
I meant the Texans. Not Chiefs. My bad. https://www.sbnation.com/2017/9/26/16364372/brandin-cooks-touchdown-catch-rule Cooks' game-winning "catch" was just as good as Jesse James' catch. JJ actually carried the ball over the goal line. One team benefited twice but on the opposite spectrum each time. One gives them a win and the other prevents the other team from directly winning.
Matty-as bad as it looks in favor of Brady, Belichick, Kraft and NE over the last 17 years, I'm sure they got robbed too of calls no one cares about or bitches about as you said. Gets screwed and does the screwing. I think fans are just so sick of Brady and NE's success, they conjure up this conspiracy that the league, Goodell and the refs are all in cahoots in the back room to make sure NE wins again. If NE had calls reversed on the tuck rule and some others and NE only had 1 or 2 SB rings vs 5, maybe fans wouldn't care so much about Brady and NE? I mean Montana has 4. No one says the refs cheated for him. Aikman has 3 and although some teammates were a tad immoral, no one said the league or refs cheated for them. I think it's jealousy and just pure hatred of their success is why people hate them so much. 1 or 2 rings is 1 thing...5 is another. If not for that miracle helmet catch vs NY, maybe even 6 rings etc. NE and Brady have had the most success in the NFL ever. 7 straight AFC title trips. 5 Super Bowl wins since 2000. 8 Super Bowl trips since 2000 and 9 since 1996. Possibly their #6 SB Sunday night. The hate outweighs the love bc their teams are stuck behind NE in Super Bowls total and every other level to measure success. They just hate seeing them win again and again whether the refs help them or not vs their own teams bc their team doesn't have the success NE does. To me, that's the root of the conspiracy nuts out there.
So where does Cousins end up? Jacksonville? Denver? Arizona? My guess is that teams like Cleveland or the Jets would probably want a younger QB (i.e., a QB via the draft).
easy Gid. I hope it doesn't come to that. I mean Seattle gave them 1 SB and the swiss cheese ATL defense gave them another. I hope and pray the Eagles can pull out a win. Like Matty said - all teams get calls. NE may get their fair share, but I'm sure other teams do too.
yikes - no offense to Cleveland Browns Nation but why would Cousins go there ? He wants to win, he better parlay his FA status to Jacksonville or another winning team. I can't see him going there money or not to lose.
