BC defenseman Kevin Lohan was assaulted in an unprovoked late night Dominos attack and is out indefinitely. Strange indeed.

Also strange is this kid’s situation as a grad student who has already graduated from Michigan. Happens in football all the time because red-shirting is far more common. In hockey a red shirt year almost always is for medical purposes. Either way I think this kid became available late and used the Tolvanen scholarship for this year.
