That was one butt ugly car Boeser won with being named MVP. It really wasn't fair of the NHL to punish the Canucks with the $212,000 MVP bonus to Boeser. Bastages!!! He really just had a couple of garbage goals.

 

Looks like Jagrs run may finally be over, the flames have placed him on waivers.

To tell you the truth, id like to see him in Detroit for a season. I think that would be cool and he could certainly contribute. Nyquist, Tatar types arnt very consistant and could use someone to set them up. But, the Wings like being mediocre.

 

Word is that the flames and jagr are working together on this, not sure what that means. Yeah, he sure could serve as a good mentor, not sure what happened in calgary.

SB Nation did a piece siting 5 possible suitors for Jagr. Edmonton, Boston, Pittsburgh, Vegas and the Montreal Canadiens. Their reasoning could be said for just about every team in the NHL. pure speculation on their part.

He probably will take a gig in Europe IF he isn't offered one here in the NHL.

 

I'm not sure about his icetime, 7 pts in 22 games, looks like it's time to quit.

 

I love Jagr and his whole schtick but I wouldnt want him on my team.

 

I get his love of the game, but when does it become a laughable joke that he's out there embarrassing himself vs younger, faster and better players?

If you look at all the greats, take a look at their lasr year, 25-30 pts with gretzky and maybe a few others the exception. How can you expect a team to not want to cut ties to give a kid a chance.

 

Looks like Jagr has cleared waivers, no interest, he's on IR. He hasn't played since december. He co-owns a team in the Czech republic, he might go back there and play.
