Still no word on an OC. Al Saunders was formerly the WR coach for Cleveland. He's been an offensive coordinator under Hue Jackson before (Oakland, 2011). Could be setting up to promote Saunders to OC.
Hue Jackson: "It's important to keep the coach for continuity's sake." Hue Jackson: *completely turns over entire coaching staff*
Exactly. Well typically about a week and a half, but I'm hoping for some changes on that front... There's just no way Dorsey will allow us to head into a season with a ridiculous "no prayer" plan at QB like we had last year....This move would put the Browns back on the map, and give every player in that locker room hope on Sundays. We haven't had that for a while.
Well I'm sorry you can't comprehend, but not surprised. Obviously the ideal situation is you sign him to an extension...You can't negotiate with him while he's still a KC Chief. You have to get him here first. Did the Niners have any guarantees that Jimmy G would sign an extension? NO....Sometimes you have to take a risk. Good QB's don't grow on trees...You get him in here. You try to sell him on your plan and direction, and you hope that he wants to be a part of it...All I was saying is that, even if we only got a year out of him, I'd still rather do that than go through another season like 2017.
Not even close to the same cause SF didnt have the #1 pick and JG is young....extending Smith means hes your QB for the next 2-3 seasons
You can do whatever you want but your happy w a 5-11 or 6-10 season possibly w a yr rental.....ya!!!!!!!!
Compared to 0-16??? Hell yes I am. I bet 90% of Browns fans would take it right now if you could somehow guarantee them a 6-10 season....
FTR- I wouldn't take the guarantee....I think we can be better than 6-10 with Smith. Seriously. Why wouldn't a combination of Smith with horses like Njoku, Gordon, Coleman, Pryor, Duke. J and perhaps Barkley or another talented rookie, make for a helluva potent offense? It would...We would have instant legitimacy with a QB in the fold like Smith, and as a Browns fan, I'd think that would feel pretty damn good...
Here we go again over valuing the players just like this past season...hell they won only 10 games at KC
I would be willing to bet even Kizer doesnt go 0-16 next yr and winning 6 games gets you what? 6 celebrating Mondays...isnt your goal to be SB champs
If you had to pick 5 guys from this draft pool that you feel the most confident about, who would they be? I guess this would be my list right now... 1. Minkah Fitzpatrick 2. Saquon Barkley 3. Roquan Smith 4. Josh Jackson 5. Maurice Hurst Not saying they will be the top 5 picks...Just 5 that I feel certain will be successful..
You don't know shit. Your tired bullshit is always the same. "If they play for the Browns they suck".. Like a broken record...And there is no possibility that this team will ever do anything right or get better in any way....Yeah we get it. Go away.
You included a guy like Njoku who had 32 rec.....a washed up scrub like Ben Watson had 61 rec....also doesnt it seem like that when they go 0-16 and have no Pro Bowlers or All Pro Bowl players...obviously their talent isnt top notch...sorry that the truth hurts but dont get mad at me yell at the owner, GM, coach and players
Pick ANY TE you want...How good would he be in the 2017 Cleveland Browns offense, led by Kizer???????????? Just face the truth...If a guy plays for the Browns, you will never say anything positive about him, because you are a phuqing troll.
Yeah, but that's when I thought it was just a college talent evaluation and draft exercise....This seems more like work. lol! I'll be happy to help if ya need me, but if someone comes along that wants to be KC GM in this, don't worry about holding them for me...Just consider me the back up plan.
