    Not to interrupt, but...

So we agree in principle, we’re just haggling over price. I would go as far as to swap #4 for their first (no worse than #20) to get Smith.

Watching Smith play rn... I’m willing to swap #1 with their first. Eff it.

  3. TopDawg Legend

I wonder if Smith would be willing to sign an extension, if Cleveland traded for him?

The Chiefs are just destroying Tennessee...It seems like Mariota has maybe taken a step back. It's going to be hard to develope Corey Davis if Mariota continues to be careless with the football. He's been all over the place this year.

The team that Dorsey built. That feels pretty good.

    Amen to that.

Chiefs just got robbed a TD. That is a sack picked up by KC and a would-be scoop & score. No way you can cal forward progress on a QB that got hit down IMMEDIATELY.

Really looking forward to the Rams game tonight....I dream of the Browns making that kind of turnaround every year. Hard not to root for them.

Anytime a player on my team gets smoked down on his ass and loses the ball I'm screaming for forward progress.

  10. TopDawg Legend

He does look really good. I can see him firing those darts to Gordon, Coleman and Njoku all day....

Make it happen Dorsey! Let's fix Cleveland's QB issue...

File under: "In case you missed it".

Right tackle Mitchell Schwartz was named to the 2nd team All-Pro roster behind the Eagles' Lane Johnson.
Translation: Scwartz was deemed the best RT in the AFC by the Associated Press.

    Thank You, Sashi Brown

Would you guys take #21, #22 and a 2nd (53 or 56) for #4 overall from the Bills?

  15. Lyman "Franchise Asshole" Browns Buckeyes

#22 by itself is enough to scare me away.

  16. No and who do the Bills want at #4?

  17. LAOJoe Assistant Coach Manager Patreon Silver Maple Leafs Eagles

Whoever the heck they want that is still available at QB.

I was thinking that if the Browns draft a QB at #1 they may like 2 picks in the early 20s they could use right away, especially if many QBs go that will let guys drop

    #4 = 1800

    #21 = 800
    #22 = 780
    #53 = 370
    = 1950

No too many Big Talent prospects at the top...I.E. Barkley, Fitzpatrick, James, Mayfield...

I actually started to write about that one talent taking this team to a different level, but then looked at the top 50 players available and getting two in that 20-something range could REALLY impact this team....This is really one talented draft class!!

So, what you are asking is this, would I rather have(based on these rankings in order):
    Option 1;
    1) Baker Mayfield, 4) Saquon Barkley, 33) Levi Wallace, 35) Ronnie Harrison, 61) T.J. Edwards

    or

    Option 2;
    1) Minkah Fitzpatrick, 21) Denzel Ward, 22) Calvin Ridley, 33) Connor Williams, 35) Josh Allen, 56) Damien Harris, 61) T.J. Edwards

If, I'm being honest...probably take the trade...

But what I REALLY want is this:

    Option 3
    2) Saquon Barkley RB, 4) Minkah Fitzpatrick FS, 31) Calvin Ridley WR, 33) Levi Wallace CB, 34) Connor Williams OT, (Trade with the Giants for the rights to Rosen, #1 and #61 for #2 and #34)..Then trade #35 and #150ish and #195ish(not sure because of comp picks) for #31. Obviously, I would trade up into the teens with any of the 2nd round picks above if Baker Mayfield drops out of the top ten, but I believe in the end he is a top 7 pick...I do this because I am going to go get either Alex Smith or Kirk Cousins {crumple up piece of paper-reads:"WHATEVER IT TAKES TO GET ONE OF THOSE 2"}/or if either of the two in Case Keenum or Jimmy Garoppolo(I am eating crow and will finally admit I was WRONG on him after his sting as 49ers starter), then they could also be targeted. I just have a REALLY hard time believing either will make it to free agency....Then, wait for it......I also sign Colin Kaepernick to back him up and I develop DeShone Kizer behind them both.

Do option number three along with a few other KEY free agents signings and the Browns are competing for the AFC North in 2018...not 2019/2020/2021 but 2018..

    Key free agent signings:
Jarvis Landry WR (although reports are he wants to stay in Miami, but "not at all costs")
Paul Pausluszny LB (fix the allowing TEs to catch everything on 3rd down, once and for all)
    Kyle Fuller CB

Oh, did I forget one KEY PIECE to that puzzle???

Force Hue to accept the fact Dorsey is "helping him" (in other words picking) hire an OC that WILL BE CALLING THE PLAYS in 2018.
