Where Do We Go From Here?

    Two items of note:
Points per game by the defense can be directly related to the play of the offense, specifically in time of possession and field position.
Points per game by the offense can be taken in context of points per game before (17.0) and after (28.8) installing Jimmy as the starter.

Although you have a couple valid points, I still do not agree that those stats posted properly represent the difference in play between those two during the period of time within.

    EDIT:
I had to edit and correct my math. Sometimes I don't math well before coffee...

I'd agree if Kaepernick wasn't completing 66.0% of his passes and had only two turnovers during that time.

Also could be playing a schedule in the first 11 games against opponents with a 92-84 win-loss record (0.523) and then a 39-41 win-loss record (0.488) afterwards - one of those games against the Rams' second team (removing that would drop the record to 28-36 (0.438)).

RR#2 would vehemently disagree. The Ravens grow ILBs in their own little orchard and have no need for a surefire Pro Bowler. Good for the rest of us, I guess.

Two throwing turnovers, 1 fumble lost, 19 sacks, 66.0% and went 20-76 (26.3%) on third down with an average ToP at 27:34.
Compared to 5 throwing turnovers, 0 FL, 8 sacks, 67.2% comp and went 35-70 (50.0%) on third down with an average ToP at 32:41.
Another valid point, but a difference in 10 points per game including 44 against the league's best defense can't be overlooked.

....and when it's determined that your team is incapable of learning, you throw a parade.

  7. That still amazes me....they may get 10 people there how cold it will be

They have 25 floats ready to roll. Supposedly they expecting over 6000 people.

Not sure why they didn't just go ahead and make 2 more floats. Then they could have each failed QB represented on his own individual float.

I'll be there in spirit. We've got birthday parties lined up otherwise I'd be there in attendance.

I wouldn't participate in it, but I do believe it's deserved. Browns fans are passionate about their team. This is a clear message to the owners that this fan base has had enough of this shit...

At first, I thought it was just going to be an embarrassment to Browns fans. But now I see it as an outlet for years of built up frustration. What other city could pull something like this off? It shows how much the fans care, and how painful it has been. It shows that this brand of football will no longer be tolerated. It's a desperate move by a desperate fan base, but most importantly it shows how passionate Cleveland Browns fans are. Twenty years of horrendous football, and we are still here.

0-16 is an embarrassment to the Browns.
1-31 is an embarrassment to the Browns.
19-71 since Haslam was approved as owner is an embarrassment to the Browns.
88-216 since 1999 is an embarrassment to the Browns.

Like you said, the frustration of such crap football for 20 years of our lives has to have some sort of outlet. What I don't understand is the people irate about the parade supporters. If you don't want to go, don't go. But you hear people calling into the sports radio screaming about the attendees.

"Steelers fans will make fun of us now for our loser parade." -- Really? So they're not making fun of us now? 0-16, 1-31 and retaining a clueless head coach?

    Speaking of records an embarrassment...

    Browns are 27 - 88 against the AFC North since 1999. That's a 0.235 winning percentage.

    Baltimore: 9 - 29 (0.237)
    Cincinnati: 12 - 26 (0.316)
    Pittsburgh: 6 - 33 (0.154)

Their point differential is -933 (-51.83 per season; -8.11 per game). In 61 of 88 losses (69.3%), they've been outscored by more than a touchdown.

It's just pride...I understand the view of those that oppose the parade. They just don't want any more embarrassment of any kind, and I can respect that. In fact, I was opposed to it until our idiotic owner publicly endorsed our clueless coach... Now I just don't care. I think our ownership deserves whatever humility and embarrassment comes from this. 1-31 should have never happened. We lost 5 times this year to teams that wound up with 11 losses or more. Maybe after this humiliation, our front office will come to the conclusion that it was a really stupid idea to go into the season with three QB's that had combined for ZERO wins in this league....That decision alone deserves a parade, quite frankly....

My gawd those numbers are staggering...

The worst thing about retaining Hue as our coach is that he and this team will never shake the stigma or stench of his win/loss record...Our epic losing is a major story....Every time we win a game, if we ever do, we will hear all about Hue's embarrassing record. "Now the Browns are 3-40 under Hue"...."Now the Browns are 4-46 under Hue"....smh. It's gonna suck...He will never get that record to something acceptable to Browns fans. And we will NEVER stop hearing about it...

That was my point. He and the rest of them couldn't evaluate that talent and let him go.
