Even if the same players were out it's not the same. I'm not being petty. You are putting up false praises. And I didn't watch the game outside the Odell injury. This is just what preseason is. Sure starters don't all go full out or in mid-season form.
You should watch closer then...players do go full out...maybe not in mid-season form, but they sure as hell don't go half assed either. The first group is getting their first taste of really hitting live, it's what they live for..the second through fourth groups are fighting for a roster spot...It isn't the high quality of football from first whistle to last whistle, but every man in there is playing at a professional level against other men that are at their same level.
This is truly saddening...we are 2-0 in preseason and we are arguing like we are sitting at 0-13 in the regular season..
I don't know why people are being negative...I had breakfast with my dad this morning, and he's all grumpy about everything the Browns did. lol! I think these last 20 years have really done a number on some Browns fans...We just beat the NY Giants. It wasn't pretty, but it was prettier than what the NY Giants did, and many have them pegged as a potential Super Bowl rep from the NFC...But there is just no helping some fans. They are going to be negative no matter what.... I was actually encouraged by much of what I saw...Pre-season ain't pretty.
Corey Coleman 2017 Catch Rate: 46.7% Yards-per-Game: 35.5 Touchdowns: 2 Best Game: 8 targets, 5 receptions, 104 yards (20.1 YPC), 2 TDs 2016 Catch Rate: 45.2% Yards-per-Game: 41.3 Touchdowns: 3 Best Game: 11 targets, 6 receptions, 80 yards (13.3 YPC), 0 TDs #Bust
Just so I get this straight.....Gordon cant make catches cause of the QB but now Coleman is a bust w the same QB.....
Waaayyyyy... too early for that label, especially considering who's throwing the football. Trade him to Pittsburgh for a 4th!
Conditional fourth and you've got a deal. I'm signing Allen Robinson in the offseason anyhow and either kicking Coleman inside to the slot or having him as a second-team player.
Really need Gordon to keep his head on. Corey Coleman has no business as the No. 1 guy in the lineup, but paired with someone like Gordon and an even average QB and the position isn't as bleak as it has seemed.
