Um, well, he was after all taken #4. This isn't a shocking reveal. That said, I still like him better than Trubisky and Mahomes..even after his hellacious rookie season. I had him #2 behind Watson.
2017. The reason he was jobless was simply because there were no openings at that time. Cleveland fired Sashi Brown early and were able to convince John Dorsey to come on board instead of wait for other possible jobs to open up.
HOF GM Ron Wolf on the Browns: "But muh lawyer and baseball nerd" jokes and "it's the talent on the team". 2017 Browns with competent football play would have been 5-11 at worst. 2018 Browns with Baker Mayfield are a .500 team.
#FireHue On a team that is nearly unanimously agreed we lack talent at wide receiver position and a QB who rates as the worst in decades:
You put "that little thing at the end" again on this one and it doesn't make sense, either. Grammatically and colloquially, the question mark on the first one isn't read as a question because you're asserting he was not there: "Josh Dorsey wasn't part of the 2017 draft". If it were a true question, it would have read as more of an ask "Was John Dorsey part of the 2017 draft". Teaching you football. Teaching you grammar. Look at me!
Wow. 1. Imagine being a first or second-year player on this team hearing this. 2. Hue Jackson obviously needs an All Pro roster to be a competent coach.
All right, I officially feel terrible for DeShone Kizer. Drafted by a bad team Installed two years early as the starter Offensive coordinator does nothing to help your development Wide receivers struggle Get benched Get told that new GM is brought in "to find a QB" Get told by the new GM that you're "not a real player" Has a franchise ever done more to wreck a 21-year old project QB (or any position, for that matter) player in history?
Myles Garrett: 5.0 sacks in 369 snaps (1.4%) Joey Bosa: 11.5 sacks in 689 snaps (1.7%) #NotARealPlayer
I think we need some clarification on what Dorsey meant by "real players". That's a broad stroke ...He just mentioned a handful of players yesterday that he wanted when he was in KC. Is he saying our players suck? Or is he saying, we had obvious misses and could have done much better? It's strange. On one hand you hear how we have a young roster with a lot of talented players, and then you get a quote like that from the new GM....I still think we are a QB away from being right in the hunt...But that really was a dagger from the new GM. Peppers, Njoku, Ogunjobi, Ogbah, Nassibb even Garrett, I would think all of them would take that comment to heart...Not just Kizer. I'm sure Kizer hears it from everybody....
