When you watch people practicing tai chi in the park it looks easy and flowing. The minute you actually start doing it you realize that there is so much going on in your body it's exhausting. When I finish teaching tai chi class I feel like I've just finished running an ultra race and I'm shaking and so tired. It also taught me a lot about self defence and I react instantly to threats because of my tai chi.

This is Master Moy who brought Tai Chi to the Americas in the 60's. He was instrumental in bringing awareness about this discipline, which can either be taught as a brutal martial art or as a means to becoming healthier and stronger.

I've already said that I'm pretty much out of winning this game. And I also said that I was going to plot my revenge on Baby and whoever wins this thing. Well, I'm going to start now !!!

Just spent the last 2 hours cutting back my pomegranate tree. That's right. Chainsaw, ladder, and a cold beverage or two. Standing on a ladder with a live chainsaw in my hands, dressed only in a t-shirt and Levi's. It's a little warm out there. Bright blue sky and sunshine !!! It's 81 (SoCalSaint) degrees here. That's 27 (Babyfan) degrees to those of you,,,,,, up there. Now, I have to fire up the lawn tractor and mow the lawn. Not shovel the snow from the driveway, walkway, etc. But mow the damn lawn !!!!!!!

I LOVE THE SMELL OF FRESHLY CUT GRASS IN THE AFTERNOON !!!!!!!!!

Well, our winter finally arrived in Texas. Kind of in between SoCal and BF. It gets in the mid-30s overnight, but daytime temps stay in the neighborhood of 58-68 degrees, and dry, so not bad. I miss the spring and fall seasons in Ohio, but not the humidity in the summer, and the snow and ice in the winter.
