Pretty bogus stat IMO. It's impressive that 4 have won it considering the odds to get in that situation.
ironic that the guy who read a lengthy statement about the Heisman's standards and integrity and honor gives the trophy to a guy who was arrested this year for trying to outrun the Police and got 5 feet before he was tackled by a Cop. He took a plea deal so the arrest was not on his record. He was also suspended 1 quarter for his actions this year with him yelling at a team and grabbing his crotch and putting the OU flag on OSU's field.
good one. manziel had most of his issues after he won the Heisman, not during his Heisman campaign. Mayfield has been a train wreck of news worthy stories since Feb ' 17! but Mayfield or Manziel weren't the first athletes to be clouded by flaws and illegality. I mean Jameis "crablegs" Winston won the award too. I think he had a crableg sticking out of his suit coat pocket when he won the award. haha.
damn ! lyman had to go there. I thought the one was an extortion case for money against him and the other a quickie in the bathroom ? that could be someone else. carry on.
