Iloka no longer suspended, which is right, but the JuJu suspension is pure BS

The NFL continues to show fans they are clueless.

Iloka is a three time offender in regards to head shots. His suspension was overturned.

Gronk hits uses a WWF move on a downed player after a play and only gets a game.

JuJu goes a little high and stands over a guy with a history of trying to maim and injury other players and he gets a game. Suspension upheld.

If you are trying to protect players the repeat offenders and guys intentionally trying to maim or injure other players ought to be suspended.

This is great news because if J2S2 actually starts acting like a felon on the field like those other guys he will get the same preferential treatment. Sweet! Oh the NfL wonderfully inconsistent disciplinary system...incentivize/reward the worst behavior.

good news that he was stable enough to travel. Wish the update included an update on his mobility though...

    Air lifted.

No news if he’s been on his feet or at least has leg movement

They said he is able to move his feet, just not to what extent.

Frank Gore passed the bus. He should have stopped while the kids were getting off.

Shazier underwent spinal stabilization surgery on Wednesday night in Pittsburgh. Such a sad situation and I'm hoping for the best for him and his family.

Honestly at this point I could care less if he steps on a field again I just hope he is able to have a full recovery.

Same. We still don't know how his legs are faring.

Last I heard, he had "some movement" but that's it. So it still sucks for him, but the positive is it's an upgrade from no movement. It sounds like he has a long recovery process ahead of him.

Ya that's all I heard but it wasn't anything "official".

New now is that he had spinal stabilization surgery which means either a fusion of vertebrae or titanium rods. NFLPA doc says "we won't see him this year" and "He may not play football again."

Whatever the outcome I hope that he can at least lead a normal life if he can't play football again.

I would like to see him play again because he is awrsome! He's s game changer with his speed in run and pass defense. He is improving every year as well! It would be a shame if this ends up being a career ending injury, but whatever is best for Ryan Shazier and his family! The Steeler defense will be playing with fire now withextra motivation. I saw it immediately from Vince Williams last week Who is the next man up, and is there a status report on Joe Haden? I know they signed Sean Spence.

    Prayers for Shazier

Saw a report that Moats will start opposite Williams with Spence and Fort coming in to spell those two...Kind of surprised, thought Spence would immediately be the starter.

From what I've read, Sean Spence is not in football shape. Therefore, he will likely be special teams and maybe a few defensive snaps.
