That was a big dude that hit that woman. The entire section should've curb-stomped him into a pile of hamburger.

well the woman should've been kicked out. I'm not for hitting woman, but that woman had some reaction coming to her. I'm not saying hitting her, but something. no one should get verbally abused for 3 hours.

Yep... I was raised, never hit a lady. Even if I wasn't raised that way, common sense says not to. That dude needed a beat-down... he got off easy. From a vid I saw a glimpse of her and she was pretty, big mouth, but pretty.

I see more and more stupid shit from fans these days, or just people in general at any venue, even the grocery store. That's why I stay 100% on guard at all times, cant afford not to be these days.

Ushers need to police some of this crap and try to keep things from escalating... like that did.

the moment you start cursing around people, people call the hotline I mentioned above. security asks you to stop. warning 2 is ejection. they don't mess around. they see 2 people standing facing each other and they're on it like white on rice.

The Flyers have given up 30 or more shots in 11 of the last 15 games, including the last ...including 52 against Phil's team.

I don't care what the scores are, they're sucking.

If they're losing 4-3 after a giving up a couple fluky bounces off of 27 shots, sure they're close. When they're getting outshot 23-34 at home and losing by 1 goal, that is not a close game. They've been outshot the last 4 games too.

The Vancouver Canucks announced Thursday morning that forward Derek Dorsett will not play again due to health reasons and the risks that would come should he suit up again.

The 30-year-old Dorsett left the team last week while dealing with complications from spinal surgery last season. After missing 68 games in 2016-17, he returned this season and got off to a great start scoring seven goals and recording nine points in 20 games.

“I think the symptoms just slowly came around the last week or so,” Canucks head coach Travis Green said last week. “He’s been kind of dealing with it the past several days, week.”

Dorsett released a statement via the Canucks:

“I’m devastated by the news. It will take a long time for this to truly sink in. As hard as it was to hear, Dr. Watkins’ diagnosis is definitive. There is no grey area, and it gives me clarity to move forward. I have a healthy young family and a long life of opportunities ahead of me. Hockey taught me a lot and it will help me be successful in whatever I choose to do in the future. I still have so many thoughts to share and people to thank for all of their support.

“What I can say for certain right now is that I left it all out on the ice. I gave my heart and soul to the teams I played for and never backed down from a challenge, including this one. I am proud of the way I played. It made me successful and a good teammate. Most of all I am truly honoured and grateful to have lived the NHL dream.”

The surgery, which he spoke with NHL.com’s Kevin Woodley about recently, saw doctors remove bone from his hip to graft into a disk in his neck. It was similar to the one that cost Peyton Manning the 2011 NFL season with the Indianapolis Colts.

Derek Dorsett pissed me off. He made plays and his team was better due to his intangibles. woot woot, nucks get younger!

Flyers at it again... trail the Bruins, 1-0 midway through the 2nd period. Its fun watching them play and observing the frustration in their game.

Will-there's no need to get angry. I have curbed my anger like Yoda on the Flyers. Have I not said Hextall and Hakstol are a problem before? Did I not say 3 weeks ago they need at least 3 major trades now? Did I not say the youth movement was a bust and their scouting department needs to be fired? for all my ranting and raving, I am RIGHT sometimes too like right fucking now !

the Flyers are simply who I thought they were. Thank you Dennis Green...
