Joe, the Lions and Cowboys play every Thanksgiving, they have both had some pretty shitty teams some of those seasons.
This is 2 shitty teams though. And I mean the night games that are relatively new. Since 2006. I'm having a look now.
Washington and the Giants were both expected to be playoff contenders. Can't help it if two teams crap the bed.
I know. And I looked. There was only 1 matchup beforehand where both teams had losing records (and also happened to both miss the playoffs). 2013 Ravens vs Steelers. But that had nothing on this matchup.
I’m thinking more symbolism than matchups...Patriots vs Redskins= Americans vs Indians at Thanksgiving. Result would probably end up like history too...
What happened to the Dallas Cowboys, they look terrible? Big trouble on both sides of the ball. I wonder if that defense was always that bad and it wasn't exposed until Zeke left and the offense cant move the chains. My how the mighty have fallen.
I've seen bad calls but this is the worst I've seen in a long time. The KC receiver caught it and went to ground inbounds untouched. The Buffalo defender barely hits him to down him and they call unnecessary roughness.
Joe I agree it is a bad call, but the refs don't get to see instant replay. From the refs position on the field it may have looked worse than it really was.
Worse how? The only thing that could have been called was a hit to the head which isn't really something that can be called when tacking a guy going down like that. I don't see how any view from anywhere can make that a penalty, even if he smoked his head.
The NFL should start fining the refs for bad calls. Put it on a scale from "Minor" to "WTF". Maybe they'll try harder if that paycheck shows up a bit light.
well he needs to show he can play and win without Zeke. right now his breakout 2016 season is almost an afterthought.
Then that ref needs to find a new job because he, and many in todays game, suck at what they are doing.
