Thank God they chose to bench Tyrod. He said himself it was a mistake and the 5 INTs Peterman threw in the 1st half validated that. There's still 6 games to go, but after this far into the season I doubt the Ravens offense have the wherewithal to do enough to get into the post season. It's worse than the 2000 offense.
Need to rebuild that OL...Flacco has no faith in that group and completed 22 passes for under 200 yds....just catch it and throw it is his mentality...Stanley is solid the rest are avg to below avg
I'm sure some Ravens fans might take me to task with regards to Flacco's play in general, but yards per completion is going to be low against the type of defense the Packers run. Dom Capers is a disciple of the zone blitz, and the way to beat that is pretty easy if you're not stuck to big pass plays. Ben Roethlisberger against Dick Lebeau threw for less than 300 yards on 30 completions and you would have to be a complete idiot to not determine that he tore it up. I didn't watch the Ravens-Packers game yesterday, so I'm not arguing if Flacco actually played well or not. You just can't say he played poorly based on an arbitrary, conditional stat like that.
The o-line doesn't need to be rebuilt, it needs to be healthy. Not one player from yesterday was a starter last year and only one player from yesterday actually played any meaningful snaps on the team last season. When two have two guards from the previous season on IR, a backup retires, a draft pick expected to push for a start goes on IR, and your first round LT is inactive due to injury, that's more healthy related than just needing to rebuild as if they were all meant to be starting
